Yeah, 1 hour or so in and so far it's not bad. Some bombastic dialog, "That'll leave a mark", "He won't be getting up anytime soon" - after killing Iraqi's. And some small graphical glitches (milimeter thick textures sitting a foot high in the middle of a room) -- but that's nit-picking. So far so good really.
~~~~Time Passes~~~
Now I am half way through. Still no major gaffes. If it keeps up it's in 8 territory.
I am surprised it's still around $30, I would have to have paid around $15 for it.
On second last level. There is a sequence in here that is worth the whole game -- mini-bosses sequence. Good monsters in this game too. Still glitching a little (like and event not triggering and having to reload) but no deal-breakers. Hopefully I'll finish this one tonight.
They lacked the balls. Or perhaps the one who removed your comment remembered that you used to be a mod as well. That gives you some leeway with the things you can get away with.
I got a warning. I have an almost clean record, but even so, I would have done a warning/point deduction. Somethings have to be said.
Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileI'M NOT NAKED AND I'M NOT DRUNK RIGHT NOW, AND I NEVER LIE, SO YOU CAN TRUST ME...!
What have you lads been fiddling with this weekend...?
Me:
*Don't worry Ask, the game isn't demonic at all... Not in the least... Nope! No Demons here!*
and...
*See those tiny little specks on the lower left? That's ur party! Aren't they CUTE?! Yes they are! Oh yes they are!*
and due to GG's over-selling of this, I haven't played it at all:
*I'm just honestly tired of seeing it... now I'm gonna have to wait to play it for a few months...*
WTF is this?
Some guy named Mark gave Red Steel 2 a 4.0
A FOUR POINT ZERO ! ! !
Random guy in user comments of Metacritic. Leo.
I got done for that a couple of times, but if someone is a blatant troll, usually they suspend the both of you. Justice eh?
I think there is a way, you have to retain all the info, the system serial number, but more importantly link your wii shop account, with the nintendo site, for when you cash in stars. That way whenever you buy a VC game its registered with your online account and you can dredge up a list of every game you've ever downloaded. Simply contact nintendo with this info and you new wii serial number and system code, link it with your online account and bingo you have your old games.
Maybe he's colour blind/partially sighted and it's the clearest and smallest size of font he can actually see?
He's got an established body of work. I think Mark has won me over. (Cancels order).
Yay!
Definitely not me. It is getting to the point where I was going to ask Yoda to add a check box for |_| Red Steel Review to the article submission tool.
The two italian reviews, from Eurogamer Italy and Wii Italia, I know the writers of those reviews on GAF who requested that I post their reviews in the opening post of the thread. Aussie Nintendo, forgive me if I'm wrong but isn't that a site Darth Homer writes for, which makes it again, someone I know.
And we've always posted worldwide reviews, especially with users here worldwide, from Mexico to Hong Kong to Austrailia. If we find the first Dutch mag review of Killzone 2, it gets posted.
How is this different from your usual gamesplaying habits of playing a game for a couple of hours then moving on? Finished Silent Hill yet? Or is that with the nephew too?
Oh yeah, and no podcast for your Sunday morning Leo (I did not get the files). So you'll have to listen to the maddening echo of your own thoughts instead.
