10 years from now I will look back on the Dreamcast more fondly than the Wii.
I'm looking forward to that too. It's supposed to add 6-10 more hours. But the download size is over a 1GB. That's a lot of content.

Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns
Bullshit. If WoW can run on this PC then it can run on Wii, and you don't need an MMO more technically advanced than WoW.
Updates done.
Slags.
I didn't notice till you mentioned it, it does look out of place.
Crazy masked guy in Hulk style ripped shirts makes sure to put sneakers on for battle?
Played more Fallout 3, I'm about 12 hrs in. How long is this game?
There dont seem to be many sidequests, I have two on my list along with the main campaign. Not liking it as much as Oblivion. Not by half.
I get really bored wandering around empty post-apocalyptic environments, which are far too big and empty for their own good. I need a robot horse or funky bike.
Characters are boring, gunplay isn't good enough to be played as a straight FPS and the VATS system is nice but makes things a little easy.
Too many menu options too and I'm getting sick of not being able to repair things or pick locks so I've started upgrading my stats.
It's okay but I'm really glad I waited and got this at a reasonable price.
Amazon is beginning to go crazy with deals. They had Dead Space Extraction for $20 earlier today, I missed it. Dragon Age for $35 at midnight. GTA4 will be $10 soon.
Miyamoto:
"Mario and Luigi are the same as always, of course, and suggestions for the other two characters included Wario and Waluigi, Toad, and Princess Peach. The thing is that with Wario he'd need to have a fart attack, Peach would have to be able to fly with her skirt, and so on. With this game we wanted every character to play the same way."
Lame.
Why lame? Good thing the game does not have those abhorrent characters. Wario? Waluigi? Fuck off.
Bowser is a popular character these days, in a multiplayer game I would want the chance to play as him. Make a new baddy like the Paper mario games, let me play as the major characters. And why cant the characters control differently? SMB2 did that.

Some highlighted reviews from this week's issue of Famitsu magazine in Japan, covering all the games coming out next week in that country:
- New Super Mario Bros. Wii (10/10/10/10, 40 points): It's no longer news, exactly, when a game receives a perfect score in Famitsu, is it? This is the fourth game this year to get the prize, despite the fact that only 13 titles have scored 40 in the magazine's 23-year history.
"It's just fun moving Mario around!" as one put it. "It's packed with that unwavering Mario-style fun. The difficulty level's high, but just to the point where you feel like you can finish the game if you try hard enough. A masterpiece of 2D action."
"The new features make this game more than an expansion," another added. "It's packed with deep content. Co-op play is lots of fun, occasionally leading to pitched battles. The game also goes out of its way to help out beginners, making it truly playable by anybody."
- Assassin's Creed 2 (9/9/9/9, 36 points): High marks all around for Ubisoft's latest Japanese release, one that's coming out just a bit after the US version. "The cityscapes here are just beautiful, and it's fun rolling around town with the crowds," one writer said. "The story, depicting the hero as he becomes an assassin, is well presented and provides a lot of the motivation for you to keep playing. The sub-missions and battle scenes are a bit too simplistic, I think, but it's definitely worth playing.
Another reviewer disagreed with that description of the battles: "Once you get to the midpoint or so, your skills and the sub-missions get a lot more varied, and things get a great deal more fun. If you're only here for the story then it's a bit of a simple experience, but work at it and the game really opens itself up to you."
- LittleBigPlanet PSP (8/8/8/9, 33 points): The PSP port is "a step down in terms of graphics and features, but that great gameplay is unchanged," as one reviewer said. "There's little here that's very new to the PSP edition, making it hard to recommend to PS3 players."
Other reviewers were more optimistic, however.: "I thought it was going to be a port, but the stages are all new. I like how it's even easier to play than before. It's a shame that your Sackboy is so tiny on the display; it's hard to really see your customizations. There's a lot to learn in making stages, but since you're on a portable, once you get the hang of it you can create new worlds anywhere you like."
- Left 4 Dead 2 (10/9/9/8, 36 points): While the reviews were generally pretty positive for Valve's latest, two reviewers out of four called the game a "version upgrade" from the original, as opposed to a full-on sequel. "There's lots of extra features, but basically this feels like a version upgrade from the previous game," one wrote. "The stages are all new and feel a lot larger. Thanks to that, you get lost a lot, but figuring out where to go with your teammates is part of the fun, I suppose. It doesn't have quite the impact of the first one, but the sheer chaotic feel is fun as always."
Other writers had good things to say about the Realism mode, which "is pretty severe, keeping things tense even for seasoned gamers."
Same here..
I dont mind either character in like sports games but for some reason they dont seem to fit into the traditional mario world to me. I think if they integrated Wario he could be all right.
Hey, Hamster, you checked out Atari's website yet? They have flash versions of a bunch of old-ass 2600 games, although you probably have them all already (and play them regularly). I played Yar's Revenge yesterday for the first time in like a million years.
I almost cried. I will show my daughters today what their old man used to play when he was young.
So what's up with Famitsu?
13 titles have scored perfectly over 23-years.
And yet this year alone four games have got perfect scores? Something is definetly up. Did you guys read that Wired article a few months back on it? I think its still up in the Monster Hunter 3 thread.
Make sure you wear your grotesque thong whilst doing it.
Did you get Rabbids Go Home? It's half price in the amazon crazy dealio over here. Lucky I nabbed it.
