Squenix taking over Eidos. Next TR game will have Lara showing even more boobs, and wearing a thong, and two bunny ears. And lots of belts and zippers.

What the hell? Open world Metal Gear Raiden? I just dont know what to think. I have MGS 1 and 2. No PS2 or 3 so no 3 or 4.
Now this weirdness. I would prefer a DS MGS like GTA.
I would assume you have MGS2 on something that's not a PS2 then?
Yeah just did the updates. I have it on Xbox. Only played up to the bit where you are shooting that boss behind crates. Cannot be jacked. I want a top down DS game. Like GTA DS. Having a fixed top down perspective and some nifty touch controls would work really well.
That would be cool. A DS MGS is way overdue. But on top of a main entry, as I rather have a full console game than anything else. I am all for open world MGS, well I am all for anything Kojima does cause he has yet to screw up.
LOL I just got back from Bugs' Animal Crossing town.
What happened?
I rubbed my crotch over all his residents and they chased me out with pitchforks.
And Dvader thinks AC is dull?
I am doing work right now so I cant get on, by the time I get on you are probably asleep. This time tomorrow maybe?
You need to get off your ass and give me/us your code and register our codes. If you want you can always buzz of a wii message when you want to play as my light will glow blue when you do it. It would be cool if 4 of us could get together though.
Just saw the new Batman videos, holy crap that game looks awesome. My brain keeps telling me something has to be wrong with the game as all comic book games suck in some way but I dont see it yet, could it be a true AAA Batman game.
Then I saw the video of this Icarian game, OMG!!! SOLDSOLDSOLD, I want to give them money, where is this game, give me now!

I saw the walkthrough. I'm conflicted a little. It looks too easy to just fly above everyone after you knock someone out and sit on a perch.
The AI being patternless is great in theory too. But in practice if it doesn't stick to hard and fast rules, stealth games can be annoying.
It certainly looks pretty good though like Splinter cell batman.

The game's a mix of Splinter Cell stealth and gadgets with Bionic Commando high flying and kicks to the face. It's an explosive combination with ample potential for gameplay variety, from sneaky strikes in the dark to full-on punch outs with 20 armed prisoners.
The demo we got to play included two 'challenge maps', essentially encased chunks of the single-player game encouraging players to go for the highest score possible. The final game will have 16 of these, complete with leaderboards and unlockable awards.
The first, a 'combat arena', got us to grips with the arcade-style combat system at work in the new Batman. As wave after wave of pipe-swinging chumps ran down the arse-kicking conveyor belt, it all felt very rock-paper-scissors; the X button initiates a simple smack, while B can be used to stun or knock weapons from opponents' hands.
Hopefully then, you get a feeling for why we reckon Arkham Asylum is the best Batman game yet. And these are just the challenge rooms; the main game could well makes its way to the top of our all-time super hero list as well.
EUROGAMER
Crucially, the animation delivers, smoothly flowing between cycles without a frustrating glitch or much in the way of clipping, and the team has perfectly nailed that distinctive blend of grace and brutality that Batman deals in. Zipping up to a distant ledge on the grapnel gun, he's a blur of black and grey, but in the middle of a fight, surrounded by deranged bouncers, he has a frosty, businesslike calm straight out of the comics,
There are potential problems - the multi-trigger controls needed to use some of the gadgets take a little getting used to, and, elsewhere, the turning speed of the camera is currently stately rather than brisk - but these are small gripes, and relatively early days. As an unlockable, then, this is a lot more interesting than the usual stack of concept art and blurry snaps detailing the developer's last office party; as an indicator of the broader game, however, it shows a promising understanding of the licence, tied to a central realisation that, while any old supersomebody can make you feel heroic, only Batman can make you feel truly dangerous.
The camera mentioned by Eurogamer is the only thing in the video of Batman that bothered me. It was moving all over the place especially when hooking onto something above.
Steel are you copy pasting news from here to Gamespot?
You sly dog, be sure not to give us credit. I do not want the big cunt to trace us back here!
Actually, I am updating both GDC threads at the same time. I'm using Eurogamer and IGN, basically. Except for the time I ripped the ass off from your gametrailers updates. I'll start using my VGPress sig again, to lure the big cunt in here. Whoever that might be
