Sweet...looking like there's gonna be lots of variety to the environments. Seems like the characters could use some extra polygons, or some other effects though. The game definitely resembles the PS2 Final Fantasies much moreso than the Xeno series.
CDs are made in HKG.....XD

How is it to play? Fairly user friendly? I'm not a big RPG guy. It it overloaded with stats and status changes and items or can you sort of get through not paying a huge amount of attention to that stuff?
Veteran gaming critic Casey Lowe breaks down his play of the game on today's release of "Warning A Huge Podcast". He thinks it is one of the best JRPG's of the generation.
Warning though, Nick Des Barnes, who is also on the podcast is not a Wii-fan (he's a resolution whore, as pointed out by Casey), so he has some choice things to say about Xenoblades coming out on the Wii.

Where else could it come out? Monolift is owned by Nintendo.

You'll have to listen to get the context. It's more of a "maannnnnn, why does a game like this have to come out on the Wii?" Nick Des Barnes is one of my 3 favorite game writers, but he does have an irrational perspective on graphical purity.
After listening to Casey Loe though, I am really eager to get this game.
