I was checking out Murdered Soul Suspect today and it reminded me of the old Déjà Vu game on the NES.  It was basically a point and click PC adventure about a 1940's private eye  who wakes up in a bathroom stall with no memory.  He discovers a dead body upstairs and has to solve the crime before he gets framed for murder,  Man, I miss games like that.  Im sure I can find Déjà Vu and it's sequel on iOS, but I'd rather have an next gen revival.  If done right, the story could be fantastic with gameplay similar to LA Noire and possibly Heavy Rain.

I

What long forgotten classic do you desperately want to see revived?  Capcom Disney classics?  A spy adventure like Golgo 13?  Yo Noid?

Why does everyone like Wizards & Warriors so much? I've seen gameplay videos of it, and it looks like crap to me.

There's so many.

I'd love a new Phantasy Star in a collaboration between SEGA and Bioware.

ActRaiser...would love a new one.       ActRaiser.jpgAct-Raiser-NES-Cover.jpg

Faery Tale:

Its mostly RPG's that I think could be brought back into a modern age with great success. Most of the other genres have either already been brought back, or are too set in their old ways to be done in a new way.

Its hard as shit balls. But it had that crazy old school "figure this shit out yourself" mentality that I loved. It was a semi open map game but with stages that were huge. Does the game work now, probably not, but back then it was so cool.

No it was amazing back in the day. One of the few NES games that had the magic of Nintendo's stuff IMO....and of course, made by Rareware. It had such a great vibe.

Just Turok that I can think of....and that actually WAS brought back. You guys know the Turok team became a big part of Retro Studios right?
