Nah. I've lived an adventuresome life.
To be fair he was a successful businessman so gang connections are a natural assumption. 
I did alright, but I wasn't a businessman. More of a suit. Management-type.
I rolled with some Vietnamese associates for quite a while in my private life. In socal there is a community that has the second highest vietnamese population in the *world* after Saigon. It's an interesting culture. Lots of things happen.
