I did everything in 29 hrs and I played slow and continually wasted time warping back to base to save incessently. Honestly it's nowhere near as long as some of the exaggerations. You could probably play through the main game in 17 hrs if you wanted to.
Oh yeah, haven't done him in yet, and the blue dragon thing.
