My hope is that people make levels better than the shit that was pretty but impractical on LBP.
I have no interest in making levels, but if we are able to download other people's levels, then I'd consider getting it.

They said that we will be able to share levels.

If they made zelda maker, I'd be playing that for YEARS.
That said I will be giving this a go just to see if I can make levels of the same caliber.

You never tried Zelda Classic? On PC its a program where you can make your own zelda games. Tons of people have made some.

What kind of levels would you make though? I find making levels that look like words is a good way to get a memorable stage with a message.
A level with a thousand running Yoshis would be fun. Or one filled with invincible yellow koopa shells.
I think that's what I would like to do is make worlds. I'd love to have an upside down world maybe with screwy gravity.

I have not. But bear in mind my phone is probably more powerful than my computer at this point. *shrugs* I don't upgrade till its absolutely necessary.
Thinking back I always loved that one off level in SMW with the little dinosaurs so I'd probably pair that with something everyone loves - lava.
I always tried to make levels in little big planet based on my favorite songs so I might try the same in Mario Maker depending on how many options are put into the level editor.
I never uploaded those levels in Little Big Planet because they weren't completed I always ran out of space before I could finish the level.
I was initially uninterested but the addition of different graphical styles seems cool.
It seems very easy to use and does something that is far more intuitive with the gamepad screen. So what would you do with as a level designer? I'm not sure, maybe a bullet bill filled level, interspersed with Koopa bosses.
I would hope other people would make and upload 2D SNES visualed versions of Mario Galaxy for instance. It does seem like this thing should be an eshop download tool though, not a full priced game.
Also in light of other genres bleeding into Mario Kart, why not have Mario Maker x (insert other Nintendo franchise) art packs? Do a top down zelda or side scrolling metroid?
