^Yeah I honestly have zero clue what is going on with the story, I dont care one bit about Aiden. The world in terms of characterization is bland. GTA is full of character this game is not. It also has some control issues which they need to work on. Which is basically where AC1 was at except AC1 also lacked content, this game does not. But AC2 gave us the much better character and story, so maybe that is where we go from here. The core is fantastic and different enough from other open world games to be a premier game for years to come. This maybe my favorite non Rockstar open world game. (granted I have not played a SR3 or 4 or Just cause 2)
That is supposed to be the famous bean. not sure why they changed it so much. Next gen cant handle metallic bean? And why does Aiden look like a zombie in this pic.
here is a new vid of some side quests, online invasion and mini game.

That shows how much variety you can see in 10 minutes. And that is just scratching the surface.

In no point have I seen it look like a PS2 or even early PS3 game. Some parts of it are actually almost TOO realistic looking to the point where it takes away the "game" feel. Again, its a better looking game at least on the PC than most games of this type, so I don't know why people were expecting some kind of Crysis 2007 level game that obliterates everything instead of a great looking open world game.
PS4. GTAV looked better than this on PS3.
travo said:Aspro, if you still have the game, don't give up on it yet. The first two hours are by far the worst part of the game. Even the textures appear better. That stadium was atrocious to look at, but the visuals certainly improve.
Too late. Traded it for FFX-X2 HD for Vita today.

So it's another "failure" for the industry. *sigh*

I'm guessing that this will be NPD's number one game for May.
Watch this insane ctos chase, I am against a guy on an app who is directing the police and hacks while I try to hit the checkpoints. It is impossible to have a more close finish!!!

There is this mini game called Alone it is awesome! Pure stealth, tons of guys looking for you, you slowly build emp weapons but they grow in numbers. Just brilliant stuff.

I hacked into a building and I ended up spying on Aisha Tyler, the one who hosts the ubisoft conferences. lol
This is certainly goty so far. I'm seriously considering double dipping and getting the U version to make use of the gamepad.
GOTY? What is it up against? Titanfall? The Metal Gear demo?
Dark Souls 2 is really the only GOTY worthy title I can think of. Its going to come down to that, this, Destiny, Dragon Age 3, and The Evil Within.

Mario Kart 8!
The online invasions are so much fun! There is this one where you need to watch the host, he never gets a notice that you are in the game, you simply need to keep him in your line of site or use cameras for a certain amount of time and not be noticed. You appear like any other civilian to him. It is so fun staying hidden. Also finding hackers invading you is a fun too, there are little tips that you use to know when you are invaded.
I agree....I am trying my hardest not to get sidetracked though, because the main game supposedly takes 20 hours and I really want to finish eitther this or Dark Souls by the end of the week.
Also yeah it is a better game than AC1 was, but the comparison is still valid in that it has flaws that you can easily see being fixed in the next game. I wouldn't say I'm totally in love with Watch Dogs....there's something missing for me here, idk what, but something is preventing me from being really wowed by it. Maybe I've just played too many open world games, or maybe its because I played GTA 5 not long ago. But, I AM liking it. I think they could have done a better job with the main character too....I like to feel an attachment to the characters I play, and this guy just feels kind of....there. He's not Ezio, that's for sure. Or even Altiar.
I agree on the stealth over combat....to me any game that lets me use a different method other than shooting I am all for. I ALWAYS go for the option. There's too many action games today as it is...I will go stealth thank you.
