I saw a stripper at a bar  who was gorgeous, then she bent over and revealed her big roid.  Bit of a turn-off.

Must have been one hell of a roid if you noticed it at regular poledancing distance. Unless she was lapdancing you, which would have made for a much more disturbing experience.

VEINS. Inflamed, engorged veins within and around your arsehole.

Why do you get them? Are they dangerous to have? How do you get rid of them?

Mostly you get them for a combination of factors including diet, low liquids intake, chronic constipation and maybe underlying circulatory disease. Stress and weight changes also can play a role in it.

They are more annoying than dangerous to have, although moderate to severe cases can definitely impair you and diminish your quality of life and make you a miserable human being. Sometimes one of them will become thrombosed (meaning it will develop a nasty blood clot inside it, making it even more swollen and painful). Worst case scenario, they can require surgical treatment, but they don't compromise either your life of function of organs, it's a matter of pain and continuous discomfort.

Then a team gets assembled to travel inside the patient's anus, like in that movie with Dennis Quaid.

So the plan is to stick mini Dennis Quaid inside GG's anus?  Happy birthday indeed.
