Started. This is just personal preference, but I --HATE-- when an established series or movie or show uses flashbacks to introduce a character you're suddenly supposed to care about. I obviously don't know how it's going to turn out in the end, but, Sam... yuck.
That being said, the game seems to be nicely done so far.

Wow! Just wow! I knew I would be wowed by this but not to this extent. These visuals are just stunning. I can't even express how amazing Drake's model is. It's when you see the cinematic that flawlessly seams into gameplay. Sully's model is also phenomenal. Speaking of Sully, I truly marked out when he finally arrived. There's just something about Sully. He's a great sidekick/equal to Nate.
I've read that several people on Gaf breezed through this in one day and I don't see how. Was there no temptation to savor the scenery? To just stop and stare? I find myself stopping to check out everything every thirty seconds. I've never seen lighting quite this good.
In terms of gameplay, I find it strange how one added gameplay mechanic can change everything. The rope grapple feels like a major step up.
Played nothing but mp today, it's solid. Don't find it nearly as fun as the one in Uncharted 2, as I don't think The Last of Us's store system is nearly as fun in a game with the cadence of an Uncharted, but it's still a lot of fun. My teammates are so fucking incredibily stupid. At one point my team took an ass whipping of 40-8, I got 7 of those kills, and only died 6 times, so what the fuck? And you would think people were AFK, sike, they just naturally that shit. Also my teammates make me hate revive mechanics, because christ mother fuckers will look at your kneeling body, and be like SIKE gotta run away. Otherwise after I could finally do ranked I did my prerequisite 5 matches, starting at Gold 2 so far.
iGN wussed-out and un-Twilight-ed Uncharted. I guess the multiplayer is .20 good because the final review score was brought up to 9.0!
These warm up multiplayer matches are weird. It's like something Nintendo would do.
They're better than the Trials. Those things are tough!
I haven't tried those yet. I've only done two mp matches so far. Both were a lot of fun, but there's some big adjustment after playing TLoU's multiplayer for weeks.
Finished the trials fairly quickly on moderate, they weren't tough as much as they were just needlessly tedious. Especially for the prompts that try to explain the controls or some shit to you.
Trails could be so much better, but it's a half assed mode.
My copy is on it's way. UC is like Yakuza for me, I gotta get it at launch. I have not read anything in the thread, I am avoiding any hint of spoilers.
I love the little graphical subtleties like in chapter 4 when Nate and Elena are on the couch. You can see the cushions moving as the they move.

Or when they show us a game mechanic, like using the rope, which Nate has known how to use for years but never has until the fourth game in the series.
