I don't use any movie downloading service. Australia has such an arse backwards internet service that it's useless - and if the government have their way, it'll be even SLOWER.

And while we're comparing ISP's...

The Australian ISP filtering fiasco hurts just thinking about it

Just for the heck of it, I went ahead and ran the test again. I don't know what happened, but that's a crazy jump upward from my usual speed! GASP This clearly doesn't represent my normal speed (which is about half of that download speed), but it sure would be cool if it did. Happy

Hmm, I wonder if this is Comcast's Powerboost in action?

On PS3 movie download GG, I have no idea if you get to keep it for the PS4, who knows. When you buy the full version yeah I guess you can download whenever, yes you can save it to your HDD, on average I see 2-3 G movies. They offer rentals as well, I think it locks up after two days or something.

2-3 Gigabyte movies? How are they HD movies then? Normal DVDs are 9 gigs on dual layer. 4.7 gb on single layer.

Good question. That seems more like a highly compressed, featureless normal DVD, than HD.

Unless they are normal or compressed and they just upscale using the PS3 processor and software? It still wouldn't be native HD though.
