Some are better than none.  You give mild spoiler warnings on Yakuza 3, having played the game I can assure the listeners that they do not touch on the story at all, they address some side-missions/ mini games.

Yup, but they're more awesome if you don't know what's going to happen!

I love your comment about Duke Wii -- "They could bring over the N64 version on rails".  Briliant.

I just listened to the whole show (when I edit I barely listen, I skip around a lot).

I found it very enjoyable listening, it was refeshing to have a short show -=- plenty of content and good conversation.

Yoda -- you are wrong about game persepctive of baseball games.

Maybe around Playoffs time you and I can do a baseball game special -- best, worst, history etc...  I'm a baseball game EXPERT.  <--- The CAPS are my credentials.

Hard to be wrong when I jumped around between multiple contradictory points, though the intended run was

Pre 8-bit = Behind the batter

8-bit = Behind the pitcher

16->64bit = Behind the batter

Last gen = Behind the pitcher and batter

Or, progression in games

-Baseball (Intellivision)

-Bases Loaded (NES)

-Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball (SNES)

-All-star Baseball 1999 (N64)

-MVP Baseball 2004 (GCN)

Counter points are Bases Loaded was on SNES with behind the pitcher still, and GameCube gen started with games behind the batter (All-star Baseball 2002 for example).  I stand by it being, as a generalization, accurate.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobile

There are examples of both in each generation pass 8-bit.  I thought you were saying the persepective was universal per generation.

I agree with this but most games had the option to change it to whatever you wanted.

And now to not talk about baseball!

....

Got done with the show last night - actually really liked the smaller podcast...even if it wasn't that much shorter than the ones we usually do. Also, must thank Foolz for reminding me of that AMAZING scene in Yakuza 3 he described.

That being said, you would've been past the orphans bit that I so much despise - thoughts?

It had just ended then, so I wouldn't have been able to say much about it! Nyaa I liked the orphan part, but so far Kamurocho is definitely better, if only because the enviroment is much richer. Currently I'm running around looking for a motherfucking Back tot he Future refernce, so I'm feeling a little angry at Kamurocho for the moment; it can be harder to find people!
