Vader, I want impressions of the backwards compatibility. How stable is the Playstation backlog on this thing? Does it upscale PS2 games?

Nothing really...its just one of those good but not great series that you're like "Really? How many of these do we need?" Nothing about it has ever blown me away.
And ever since the launch of the Playstation 4 Vader could never see the words PS4 without thinking of "painful shit 4 hours."

Nothing, except for some douchy characters here and there. But the thing is that there's nothing right with it either. It's just sort of...there. Mediocre action adventure game in an open world setting the likes of which we got a thousand this generation alone. What makes it so special to warrant 2 sequels?
I see. It gets a lot hype online for Second Son.
Seems less interesting now.

What backwards compatability? It plays nothing but PS4.
Infamous was a 9 for me. One of the best super hero open world games, scratch that THE best super hero open world game. Prototype, Hulk, etc are not as good.
PSN is still half way down. Friends and the store works but the PS4 exclusive stuff is not and it messes with the downloads and installs, some get stuck or the xmb randomly kicks you out of choosing a game. Its like some parts of it wants to be connected and when its not it freaks out. Say I want to start resogun well I think when you highlight it some network stuff is supposed to come up but now you get an error and you get kicked back to the xmb. So I had to find resogun in the quick launch menu for it to start.
Resogun is cool, and pretty, nothing crazy wow. I think SSDHD is better from first impressions.
I have a ton of crap background downloading right now. There were two FTP multiplayer FPSs and DC online which I will try out.
So Killzone, the first level is a boring piece of shit story level where you do nothing for like 20 minutes and watch people that have horrible lip synching, its like a godzilla movie. FInally you get put in a missiona and all you have is a knife. You learn to stealth kill and finally get your owl which is pretty neat. With the touch pad you get to switch its mode from attack, to stun, to shield or zipline which lets you get around the world quick. Finally you get a gun and the world opens up a bit.
The first area had a semi large open area with three bases. There are a few random guards around that you can mess with and some alarm posts that can be hacked so they dont sound. Shooting feels fine, more KZ3 than KZ2 though. You have this radar ability that where you hold down right and if anyone is around you it gets highlighted but the range is not great. Two of the bases are optional and have plenty of guards to take out. Stealth seems like an after though here as I dont have a silenced gun and all enemies were bunched so I cant stealth kill one without alerting another. But its fun to come up with new strategies to taking out the group. Maybe distract them with the owl then gun them from behind. Throw grenades into the pile. Zipline onto one killing them then opening fire (this one is a bad idea). Some reinforcements would show up from the rear which surprised me a bit, lead to some deaths, I am playing on hard by the way.
Basically this is no longer a cover shooter, I dont even think there was cover anywhere. This is a you figure out how to kill them shooter which I love but so far its a simple one. The layouts were not interesting and I dont seem to have enough options to really make it a stealth mission. So it ends up with you fighting groups of four at a time.
Again I am very very early on so who knows.
Must be annoying when you need online so much these days for it to be like this.
And now a chick playing AC4, omg a woman!
Shes actually entertaining unlike the last two dudes I watched.
Oh wow this game is beautiful.
My first uploaded screenshot. I'll upload some videos later.

Agreed. The first one was great, it provided an entirely different take on super hero genre. The second one was complete shit, they ruined the mood of the first game entirely by turning it into Superhero Academy.
Vader, does it comes with an HDMI cable?
Yes it does aspro. So I tried remote play, while close to the PS4 like a Wii U it works FLAWLESSLY. Its crazy, its just like Wii U but on a much nicer screen. But as you walk away from the PS4 the quality falls apart and eventually dies out, at least in my house. The range of the direct PS4 connection is much larger than the Wii U. Maybe at higher speeds the wifi will work just as well but who knows. Its still rather impressive.
Me either...in fact there's a ton of modern day franchises that I feel this way about. Then you have brilliant stuff like Eternal Darkness that couldn't even get a fucking sequel.
