This movie will suck balls. And I will be there day one cause as a RE fan I need to see what they screw up this time. Hopefully Wesker makes it enjoyable. Oh and 3D should be cool, its the real 3D. The kind used with Avatar not the make a movie filmed in 2D into a 3D movie later in post production kind of crap so many movies do now.
I dont know, looks like a poor holiday season. I guess Tron Legacy. I will see Harry Potter cause I might as well see it to the end. Denzel Washington on a train sounds like fun, Unstoppable is the name. Red looks cool. I saw Let the Right One In so I have no reason to see Let Me In. Oh the Social Network should be good.
I am looking forward to not seeing Inception, though!
(I didn't miss the in-development part, I just completely ignored it.)
When I said hype thread, I meant for posting trailers, info, pics, rumours etc.
I ignored that too. I even ignored the existing hype in the thread!

Sounds like work.

Too much work.
The trailer is worth checking out to because it is as if it's advertising another film! Oh yeah, sort of spoilers in that clip (but it doesn't really matter), and the film may upset GG's stomach!
DETECTIVE DEE
Tsui Hark directed the Once upon in Time in China trilogy starring Jet Li as well as the frenetic The Blade film about the one armed swordsman. This film blends mysticism and the paranormal with ancient detectives. Watch the trailer.
When the mysterious deaths of a series of loyal subjects threaten to delay the 690 A.D. inauguration of Empress Wu Zetian, China's only female leader, she summons the infamous Detective Dee back from an exile into which she cast him eight years earlier.

This comes out on friday who is seeing it? I will see it in 3D, that should be good at least. Oh and Wesker... in 3D! I could touch him!
Avoid like the plague damnit.
Anyone seen Kickass? It's not availible to rent
I have to buy this to see it?

Great movie.
I wont buy it on principle The UK distributor hasn't made enough copies for it to be rented.
REIGN OF ASSASINS
Produced by John Woo, perhaps directed by him - that's not clear. It's a Wuxia pic starring Michellle Yeo. If it's as good as Red Cliff it could be a classic in the making.
I wish I was in the UK. If you don't see this in theaters I will hate you. UK only release.
This thread is for hyping or tracking films that are in development and have not yet been released.
Feel free to let us know what to look forward too and why. My first submission is:
Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen
Presumed dead after single-handedly defeating all the Japanese fighters at the Hongkou Dojo to avenge his master, Chen Zhen joins the Labour Corps during the First World War. Deciding to return home to defend his country, he arrives in Shanghai disguised as a wealthy businessman named Qi. He quickly befriends the notorious mafia boss Mr. Liu (Anthony Wong), owner of the nightclub Casablanca, and Kiki (Shu Qi), the club’s star hostess. With the rapid expansion of Japanese influence in China, the military releases a death list, sending Shanghai into complete panic. As assassinations become rampant in the city, Chen disguises himself as the Masked Warrior to protect those who have been targeted.
WHY SHOULD YOU BE LOOKING FORWARD TO IT?
Donnie Yen is hot s*** these days in terms of action films, as a very talented fighter and choreographer. The film is directed by Andrew Lau who co-directed Infernal Affairs (the film Scorcese re-made as the Departed)
Do you remember this film? The characters name is Chen Zhen and this film follows after the events of Fist of Fury in Japanese occupied China. Chen Zhen dons a mask and becomes a masked freedom fighter.
