Anyone notice the circular disc above the Falcon that was smashed, has now been replaced with a rectangular one.

Lando smashed the original one in Jedi.

Lando was shot and killed by Han when Han saw what he did. Nyaa

A few tidbits, Andy Serkis is the voice over. He is not the sith shown. There was not one shot of space in the whole teaser.

The movie just looks so good.  I like the light saber now that I see what they are doing with it.  One thing I love about the SW universe is the incredible attention to detail.  This looks to be no different.

Uh, if Jedis can refract light and shit, why do they need those silly, suicidal blades in the first place?

Anyway, the storm trooper costumes still look really cheap, and the thing the woman riding was an ugly rectangle with jet engine duct taped to the back of it lol, and the panning was like something out of a Batman chase (but depicting flight, wat)...but other than that it looked good. Happy

I don't know? You said something someone on gaf said about light and blade climbing (phwoar) to justify the suicide blades, and I couldn't be bothered going back to whatever you actually said. It's not like I need to be accurate as we're talking about fantasy here. Nyaa

I meant when two blades meant and someone slides his blade down the other to the hand, that is why swords have crossbars.

Yeah, but when they're arm wrestling with the swords close to their chest (if they're losing) as often happens for the purposes of drama, then the crossbars are likely to stab them in the chest. Now, you could turn it sideways...but the opponent sliding his blade down the other blade to the hand could avoid the crossbars almost as easily.

This is possibly the most idiotic discussion I've ever had on the internet. LOL Certainly the nerdiest.

We have NAMES!!!!The “ball droid” is BB-8

Oscar Isaac is Poe Dameron

The Sith is Kylo Ren

Daisy Ridley is Rey

John Boyega is Finn

(Via Obin_gam)

So Rey, Finn and Poe will be the new Luke, Han and Leia. Yeah not as good. BB-8, is ok. Kylo Ren, ehhh, ok.

Poe Dameron is the worst of the bunch and as gaf has pointed out...

But this is a film series where the original protagonist was called Luke Skywalker (nee Starkiller), so...
