The problem is that what userbase is the PSP2 going to cover? The 3DS covers the casual market and seems to be going after the core market as well. What's left for the PSP2? If SONY does launch a PSP2 it's going to be fighting for crumbs under the table while Nintendo is enjoying a 5 course feast up above.


This hypothetical PSP2 will perform worse then the Gamecube.

Maybe yeah.

I guess Sony would try to push its exclusive content like LBP, Motorstorm etc, backwards compatibility, perhaps an increased media focus, with a hard drive and new services. Whilst then mopping up 3DS 3rd party releases.
