Here is a review that sums up how I feel.
Let’s address the elephant in the room right away: Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is not a pure return to the 16-bit formula that made him a star. Judging this game against the criteria that it should play just like the Genesis classics would earn it an “F”, no questions asked. Taken on its own merits, however, Sonic 4 proves to be a flawed but decent step back toward the classic platforming roots of the series.
I am going to try to get every trophy in Sonic 4 by doing the requirements on the wii. But then no one gets to see that I did it publicaly, so what is the point... *cries* The wii needs trophies/achievements, everyone must know that I got them all in Sonic 4.

I am top ten in two more levels now. Speed running is fun, Dimps is very good at making levels where you can speed run. I am enjoying doing this far more than just going through the game.
