Do you guys prefer listening with headphones? What’s the appeal? I don’t care for headphones since my hearing is shit.
I use headphones so that I can't hear others and they can't hear what I'm listening to. Headphones take up a lot less space than full speakers too, and they're probably cheaper (I've never bought speakers on their own before). I have a stereo system with big speakers that I haven't used in years because they'd be too loud for the rest of the house I currently live in.
While I'm posting, here's another Japanese band called Sigh. Wikipedia has them listed as black metal, avant-garde metal, symphonic metal and progressive metal. The vocals are in English.

I find a quality stereo system is best, but usually listen to music with good speakers and a great soundcard, which is adequate, and preferable to headphones.

I only listen with headphones for privacy. But you must use headphones for listening to Futurebass genre music, especially from your PC. These guys are wizards and the music accesses parts of your brain you never knew existed before.
