You eyeballin' me soldier?!
You better not be fuckin' eyeballin' me...
I've been wanted to play this morning, but the kids took over the TV. Maybe during nap time this afternoon.
Visually, the game has aged very well. The character models still look amazing to me.

It's times like these when you have to ask yourself, "Who bought that TV?" If you bought it, then reclaim it . . . RIGHT NOW! That's what my dad would do (and did often when I was a kid).
I have one of these Dragon Age games (1st one maybe?) on PS Plus. Never finished downloading it, though. I have like 6 games partically downloaded onto my PS3; I'd pause them to download something else, and never restart them, lol.
Its more a matter of playing mature rated games in front of them. Not sure I'm comfortable with my one year old watching a blood covered knight and his blood covered dog fight their way through a castle just yet.
Thats why Nintendo needs all of these mature titles, so I can conveniently play on the Gamepad.
That wouldn't stop my dad! He'd say, "Life is hard, and people die in horrible gruesome ways, so you better get used it now, ya crybaby!"
Yeah there have been a lot of games like that, that I've had to be really choosey about when I play it, and in some cases there've been a few games that I've had to give up entirely. God, playing The Last of Us became a nightmare. Between the violence and people shouting "FUCK" every 5 minutes I eventually had to give up on even just sending the boy into the next room. If the visuals weren't a problem the sound was.
Anybody else feel sorry for Raven about now?
My dad wasn't quite like that, but he could be odd about certain things too. I don't think he liked it that I played a lot as a kid. Maybe because his childhood was mostly work time on a farm.

Exactly. I hate having to wait till 9 pm to play and then sometimes I'm just too damn tired to play. Oh well, I vow to persevere.
The only thing my dad would send me of the room for was sexual content, and I'm talking about the sexual content on prime time 70's/80's TV (we didn't get cable TV until I was 16). Sex stuff was a BIG no-no with my dad, which is probably why I used to watch a lot of porn.
Not a lot of Three's Company in the Ravenprose childhood home huh?

That was not a problem in my family, surprisingly.
Yeah, my dad outright banned Three's Company. However, my mom loved that show, and would let me watch it with her when he wasn't home.
My mom took me to see Rambo. I thought it was cool at the time, but now I file that under "WTF was she thinking?"
Like Sam Beckett in Quatum Leap, I intend to make right what once went wrong. I received Dragon Age for Christmas, started it, then stopped after about ten hours of gameplay. I love the gameplay, but had too many other games on my plate at the moment. I tried again a year later, starting all over, only to make it slightly further along.
I bought this for $5, eagerly waiting to finish Watchdogs and move onto this. I absolutely intend to finish this. Dammit, I must! I guess I made this thread for support, to help document my progress. Wish me luck!
I'm starting off as a human warrior..
