Here's where you find the mine thrower in 1999's Resident Evil Nemesis:
It comes in handy.
Yes the red 9.
I loved upgrading it to max and getting all headshots.
I am in the castle on pro mode, I just bought the mine thrower, I rarely buy it so I figured I would give it a go. And hell yeah GG Red 9 is the best handgun in the game. Semi auto rifle is a must. Striker is the best shotgun, always max the capacity and you get a free 100 shotgun shells, that should last you the rest of the game. This game is so amazing.
I wonder if the Wii version of RE4 will show up on the Virtual Console. Capcom has always been one of the better publishers on the VC, so it's certainly possible. I never got a chance to play that version.

Hilariously enough, I always found Resident Evil 4 to be the best game to use the remote and nunchuck with. Even though the game wasn't originally designed for it, it really feels like it was. It feels like the kind of game that should have been a Wii launch title showcase for how to get the most out of that controller.

I'm thinking of replaying the entire franchise this year, with REmake and Zero getting the HD treatment.
Play RE2 & RE3 on the Dreamcast (still the best versions), Code Veronica HD on PS3 or 360, and the rest on Steam.

Tried the Ultimate HD Edition. Even with KB/M controls, the gunplay doesn't feel right or satisfying in any way. Can't find any enjoyment out of this game after my original first playthrough.
I can't believe the franchise has been dead for a decade.
Listen to Iced Earth and play Doom

Yup, it is by far the best playing version. It makes the game a little easy though. Also it looks like ass, if only the PS3 HD version had move support.

Played the HD version around this time last year. Was as great as I remember. It's definitely up their as one of my favourite games.
