Lazy bums. I need a Animal Crossing fix but Steel and Raven seem to have disappeared. Sad

I haven't dissappeared. I just haven't felt like posting much lately.

I think I'm done with ACCF. It was a great game starting out, but that whole animal tracks nonsense has taken most of the fun out of it for me. Whenever I play it, all I can think about is how I can't walk on certain areas or I'll destroy my grass again. Sad

EDIT: Oh, and I missed Smash Sunday too.

Really? I thought you did the whole time travel thing? I laid out paths a while back and my grass is 95% recovered. I just lay out paths where I usually walk. I use the patterns Wendell gives you. It actually looks natural. If it's true that online friends can't destroy your grass you should play online and run about friends towns. I just learned something important from the interviews, because there are region specific holidays you can go online and experience things like Japanese holidays and for me for instance I get to see Thanksgiving at an American friends. This is cool.

I just got the grass pattern from Wendell, looks okay. The main two problems being that tiles are laid down in squares so it can look unnatural depending on where you put it, the other problem being that it looks awfully low resolution.

Oh definitely. Ever since my girls started gaming, I view all those decisions under a different light, and I respect them way more now.

And I'm afraid to go into my town again, since my daughters created a character as well and have been playing non stop for days, entering town multiple times a day. It must look like a fucking desert now. How was the one day at a time travel thing aain?

Painful, ask Raven. I just laid down paths and I'm good. If you want I have a good grass pattern but I would have to put it in the clothes shop and you would have to visit online and take it.  It looks werid now in the snow but okay when the snow melts in a month or so.

How much was it? I saw it for £60? How much is Live Gold? £30-40? I would have to get a hard drive too. It just isn't worth it. The only reason I play Wii online is because its wireless and free.

I have a security team constantly watching my buttocks. If anyone comes near them, they shoot on sight.

Oh damn, that's such a bad pun.

It's usually £60 but as the Xbox was a xmas present I don't know, the mrs would've probably got them to reduce it as part of a bundle.  £35 is the cheapest for Live,  but for a year I don't see that as too bad.

How comes you need a hard drive? Can't you just use memory cards?

The best part of being online is downloading demos. Without that, I really cant be bothered. I wouldn't be able to get pacthes either. So add the cost of a wireless router to the cost of Xbox Live and a hard drive. Will all that I can buy a few games.

Buy a long ethernet cable, get a hard drive, buy Left 4 Dead and we could have some serious laughs - go on, do it, you know you want to Grinning.
