It turns out not only is this bogus because the weapon is already in every copy of the game no matter where you buy it from, but anyone can enter a stupid code to unlock it. The code is on the back of the artbook you get, but it's all over the forums and on GameFaqs.
Seriously, this is the stupidest pre-order bonus Gamestop pulled out of their greedy butts!
What's next? Pre-order Super Mario Galaxy 2 and receive a playable Yoshi where all you have to do is go to World 4 and hit a question-mark box to unlock him!?
