Why'd they even bother? So what about that Master System Wonderboy game, I guess the first one, is it worth playing, I already played the sequels which I assume would be better.
If you are referring to Wonder Boy in Monster Land, it has very light RPG elements. It's more of a platformer with a sword.
I LOVED it back in the day, but the sequels are a lot better. Save it for a rainy afternoon; that's what it would be perfect for now.
I have Wonderboy in Monster Land and love it. I have that and Dragon Curse. Its the others I am asking about, they dont seem to be the same type of games.
Unless I am totally off base, I think you are confusing the Wonder Boy titles...
Wonder Boy in Monsterland was for the Master System.
Wonder Boy in Monster World was for the Genesis.
Dvader said:Stupid land and world. So Land is like world, therefore i should get it, correct.
Here is a complete history of the entire Wonder Boy series with pics and descriptions.
Basically, all of the adventure Wonder Boy games are:
- Wonder Boy in Monster Land
- Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap
- Wonder Boy in Monster World
- Monster World IV (Japanese-only Mega Drive release; not available on US VC . . . yet).

You should burn for saying that.
Wonderboy in Monster World (Sega Genesis) is also like those games you mentioned, and is my fav in the series.
