Just finished it. The final battles are incredible. But yeah the ending is lacking. Plus the big one...

No final boss, really?!Ok yeah they tried to get all cute with the ending, went all Matrix on us. It was still done pretty well but if the other endings dont really change anything then I can see how its such a quick unfullfilling ending. The goal was accomplished but we really dont see any resolution. We dont see how all the races fared, we dont see the state of the galaxy. it basically ends like a fairy tale with an grandfather telling his granddaughter that is the end of our story. Clearly more is coming, like where the hell is the Normandy? But it should have ended well after three games building. It missed the landing, the final moments were absolutely amazing though, only the lack of a boss battle ruined it.

The complaints are they dont change much of anything.
The final moments of this game had me emotionally hooked in a way few games ever could. Wow. What a series, I cannot wait to continue it.

I really wish Shepard did not die. Maybe the ending implies he will return in some form. I hope so. I really believe he (or she I guess) is one of the greatest game heroes ever made. One of the best captains of any spaceship i have ever seen, TV, movies, whatever.

It's just one scene where a battered Shepard is on what appears like earth and his body moves RIGHT before the end credits.
Still a big difference.
To me as well, I just didn't want people thinking that I was saying there was this completely different ending when everything else is essentially the same.

For me, the three that got off the Normandy onto the jungle planet were Joker, Cortez, and Javik. I say the human race has a slim to none chance of survival on that planet. 
Oh and it may be too late, but I started a new game + and it appears my saves from the previous game have been erased, including my autosave for checking out the different endings. 
That's why I rely on Youtube.
^ Oh ok I though your ending had the Normandy blow up. I had Joker and Liara. But Liara should have died, she was with me on the final run toward the beam and they said everyone died.

The fate of Joker and the Normandy is pretty much the same (Normandy crashes, Joker escapes), but the difference is who joins you.

If I was a developer at the end of my game I'd put "Want to see the ending?" on a black screen the put the picture of the bum with the cigarette hanging out his mouth flipping the double bird and the caption saying "GO FUCK YOURSELF!!!"
