I think that first part is definitely true. A week or two ago I drove by an Iranian protest. My first thought was that they were protesting the potential war, but protest was actually in support of it, and all protesters seemed to be Iranian.
But yeah, history has proven time and time again that it's going to be a long time for the region to be stable, assuming it's even possible for it to happen. Iran's history is a little different from a lot of Middle Eastern nations, and I do think it could work out, although not with the current American regime and control.
And yep, "The President of peace" who thought he deserved Nobel Peace prize pulled the trigger on this. Right on script.
