So I THOUGHT that I had more than enough Wii and DS games to get myself a nice Hanafuda deck from Club Nintendo, boy was I wrong.

Out of the 17 Wii games I have, only 6 gave me coins (Including one that had a PIN but "didn't count".)
Out of my 9 DS games, only 4 gave me coins.

FUCK YOU NINTENDO. I deserve 1,120 Club Nintendo coins, not 370. FUCK YOU. If a game has the Nintendo Seal of Quality, it's a FUCKING GAME AND IT SHOULD COUNT. It doesn't matter if EA, Activision, Ubisoft, or anyone else made it. YOU FUCKING LISCENCED IT SO YOU SHOULD FUCKING ACCEPT IT AS ONE OF YOUR GAMES. And my systems don't count for shit either, even though you asked me to register them and gave the illusion that it would?

On a related yet much less bitter note, if anyone has a couple of Wii or DS games lying around with PINs that they don't plan on registering themselves, I would greatly appreciate them. I'm going to get my damn Hanafuda deck even if I have to beg Nyaa. I need 9 more accepted Wii titles, 15 DS titles, or a mixture of both. There's a PIN on a piece of paper inside the case that says "Register your software". I don't know if anything but North American PINs will even be accepted, but worth a shot.

You can email them to me here:

You do not get to complain.  Up to the launch of Club Nintendo, I'd had 39 registered Nintendo products, and get nothing for it.

LOL

I do agree with you. It sucks that the only games that count are the ones made/published by Nintendo. Third party games are not included. I guess I can understand that, though. If I buy a lot of Sega games, then Sega should reward me; it's really not Nintendo's place.

Oh, and hell yes, consoles should count for some points!

That's kind of understandable, except that Sega made a game called "Mario and Sonic At The Olympic Games", with half of the game's characters comprising of first-party Nintendo characters. So you can outsource all Nintendo characters, but you can't make them agree to stick a piece of paper in the box... which btw is just an advertisement for Nintendo Power for the most part anyway, why wouldn't that be in every game?

At least the EA games do have their own separate codes to register with EA, but do you really want to?

Hanafuda are Japanese cards for various games; those are the cards Nintendo originally made.

Foolz, shame on you.  Shame.  Shame, Shame, Shame. Knwo your heritage man.

yarco, you assume Sony will be around next gen,

yeah Club Ninty is a bust.  I have like 120 DS and Wii games and got only 560 points or so.  If they are going to have a loyalty program then they need to make it somewhat seriously possible to actually redeem points.

I mean really, seriously, I am an extreme case with my shitload of games and I can't get a decent reward.

LOL Welcome to the world of loyalty points.

Nintendo UK is ridiculous. They wont even let you register the same product. So if you buy a DS for a family member you cant even register that on your account.

There isn't a problem with Nintendo's loyalty program; you guys just buy too many third party games. Who buys third party games on a Nintendo console anyway? Nyaa

I buy mostly Nintendo games, so I have 770 points. Happy

Now if only Nintendo would put up rewards that I would actually want . . . like the SNES Classic Controller!
