Dunno. I guess I missed them when they were released. I'm not too big on Bond, anyway.

You haven't missed much.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrr............ I refuse to add to your minus 20 score.
I'd play a James Bong game, though.
My name is Bong....James Bong.

Buy Goldeneye or I will construct a gun out of a gold pen and lighter and shoot you.
I will do it covertly, when you are on the toilet, just like in the original Goldeneye.
If I were to play one, and only one, FPS with IR pointer controls, would you recommend Goldeneye?

Well Goldeneye comes nowhere near to having the best IR controls on Wii. It would be somewhere near the middle in terms of control. Also the default settings aren't good enough so you have to customise the options. It isn't hard to do, I even have my setup listed in the thread if you need to copy.
But, as a FPS -it's easily the best FPS on Wii. The single player is the best FPS I have played this generation other than Halo. It's not a game based on atmosphere so you wont get a unique setting like an underwater city or anything.
I don't class Metroid Prime 3 as a FPS but Prime 3 is a better game as it's an adventure game.
Ibeat Rogue Agent for the PS2 earlier in the year. It was pretty typical of the time. Enjoyable, nothing great. You killed Pierce Brosnan in the first 60 seconds of the game (by accident of course) and from there on... well I don't really understand the story. But it was slightly camp with solid weapons and great set design.
I always said I wanted a good James Bond game. GoldenEye 007 is a welcome fresh of breath air, but honestly, I'd love to see a 360 version that's immersive and huge like Half-Life 2 with crazy spy gameplay like in GoldenEye and No One Lives Forever 2.
But I'll be content with GoldenEye 007 for now. I'm just glad the game turned out well. Too bad for Bizarre Creations and Blood Stone though.

Rogue Agent got a critical beatdown. Any reason why and were the criticisms valid?

Before Goldeneye Eurocom made the PS2 version of Quantum of Solace. I doubt Activision would have let them develop a huge budgeted multiplatform HD game.
I find the game immersive. Bleh to having the game like Half Life 2. I think the tight level design would be lost. And you should be playing the game with the wii remote godamnit. Why don't you use the controller settings I put in the thread?
Anyhow I was thinking of picking up some past bond games I missed. Interestingly all the Bond games Eurocom have made, including the PS2 version of Quantum of Solace have worked out as the best ones.
I played World is not Enough on N64, it wasn't as good as Goldeneye but it was good clean fun. Nightfire was fun from what I played although they interupted the gameplay with cutscenes all too frequently. And the new Goldeneye is pretty awesome IMO.
I hear good things about Everything or Nothing and From Russia with love. Anyone tried these?
Re: Rogue Agent, the AI was criticized, which was an invalid complaint. Gerstmann criticized it for being an FPS (seriously).
EGM gave it a 7.5 out of ten, which is about right.
In my view, it suffered unfairly for daring to have the name "Goldeneye" in the title.
I have Rogue Agent. It's about as generic as The Conduit. Not bad, but not good either. Meh.

It's generic all right, but I'd say that it has much better, and more varied, environments than the Conduit. Better enemy AI as well.

This is a good feature. I wanted to get your feedback on past Bond games.
