BDW can suck my nut.
My teenage self will wish time travel existed so he can come forward in time to punch me, but (despite my avatar) I have to say The Legend of Zelda. It was my all-time favourite series for years and I still pop in some of the old games once in a while, but I just can't bring myself to look forward to anything new from that series. Ocarina of Time and Link's Awakening may be my favourite console and handheld game ever, respectively, but I haven't touched a handheld Zelda since I swore off them thanks to Phantom Hourglass' total shittiness, and I honestly can't remember more than a few tiny things about Twilight Princess (and maybe a BIT more about Skyward Sword). I think it started with the Oracle games. Very good games, but that's all they are; good games, not the pinnacle of gaming existence as I'd built ANY Zelda up to be in my little mind, and the fact that they weren't totally bummed me out for a long time. They're just fine; I remember playing them again years later and having a ton of fun. But I still wonder what exactly happened and when. Is it because I got older? Is it because there are so many that the early ones have kinda lost their luster and special-ness? I don't know. All I know is that I really couldn't care less anymore.
EDIT: Fleshed out.
