This thread predates the forum subdivision. Dunno if it can be moved. I guess yoda can.

When was your last glucose test and how was it reported? (e.g. the actual blood level in milligrams). Also, how old are you?

I dont think I had a glucose test. I am nearing 31.

Holy shit dude you're getting old.

The fuck? Then what kind of weird test did they perform on you that came up negative? The American Diabetes Association criteria relies on blood sugar levels to make a diabetes diagnosis. Did they test you for type 1 diabetes? Did the test involve your anus?

I peed in a cup, but it might have been someones coffee.

I also had a blood test. They didn't give me specific results, just said I didn't have diabetes.

The blood test was for glucose. Probably also the urine test, but that's unreliable. Well, one way to be somewhat sure is to get a new blood glucose test done. Can you go and get it done without having to get a medical appointment?

I think I might be able to get that finger pin prick one done without a new appointment. Is that one any good? Otherwise I have to gen an appointment and then go to the hospital and stuff.

That'd be nice. It's not as exact as the venous blood one, but the accuracy of modern devices is pretty good. How long have you been having these symptoms? And, have they improved in any way throughout the course of these few days since you first told me?

Do you have morning wood?

Ok that last one is merely curiosity of mine. LOL

I always have morning wood.

I have had most of the symptoms for years now but the leg aching thing went away and then came back all of a sudden but has faded away again.

I always have morning wood too, and I usually have to pee, which makes aiming difficult. Sad

I have a mid-morning poop. If I miss it, I get blocked up all day.

If the excessive thirst and urination have been present for that long, it's unlikely that those symptoms are related to diabetes, especially considering you already underwent workout studies to rule out that. Still, it won't hurt and it'll give you peace of mind considering your familiar background.

Jesus, guys. I was only joking. I don't need a detailed description of your morning erections while I'm having a cup of coffee. LOL

Yes, you DO.

Another thing to consider is that water runs right through me. I don't know how or why but if I drink plain water I need to pee a lot. If I drink juice or even water with a dilute fruit flavour its fine.

Also I take medication for my back now and that gives me dry mouth, so I many be drinking more to compensate and thus peeing more?

This is important. It's likely your water intake has increased due to the dry mouth feeling caused by the medication. In liters, how much water/liquids do you think you ingest in one full day? (24 hrs).

I've never really tested it. I don't think I drink too much. I do drink a lot of tea, maybe 6 to 8 cups a day. Then plain water, maybe 2 glasses worth a day.
