Yeah, and even if they do bring them over I think we know what kind of support and marketing they will get.
Leo brought up the same thought earlier today.
And Sin and Punishment was a no-go. An that Zangeif game.
I'll give them benefit of the doubt -- the had a lot to pack into the conference.
All teh same would have been encouraging to have them at least list them.
I think that translating the games will mean they wont launch for at least another year. Namco just seems to have given up on Graces, but it took a year for the other tales games on GC and Wii to release in europe before.
JRPGs always come late. As a European I have more faith in Nintendo Europe releasing these rpgs then I would have in Nintendo America.
Its possible they're saving them for next year. RPG's take forever to go west anyway so hopefully that's why.
angrymonkey said:They better bring one of those two(xeno or story) over but with their track record I'm not expecting. Maybe if it had prof. layton in the title.Forget loaning games - gg when this generation is done how about you send me your console and disaster and every other game that doesn't get bestowed onto north america?
Hahahaha. No.
Maybe you could send me Excitebots and I could send you Disaster and Another Code R?
Hows about no.
Here's the full top ten, covering June 7 through June 13. Games are listed with publisher, platform and release date.
- 1. Xenoblade (Nintendo, Wii, 6/10)
- 2. Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Nintendo, Wii, 5/27)
- 3. Grand Theft Auto Episodes from Liberty City (Take-Two, PS3, 6/10)
- 4. Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 (Square Enix, DS, 4/2 )
- 5. Mega Man Zero Collection (Capcom, DS, 6/10)
- 6. Just Cause 2 (Square Enix, PS3, 6/10)
- 7. Fairy Tail Portable Guild (Konami, PSP, 6/3)
- 8. Friend Collection (Nintendo, DS, 6/18/09)
- 9. Wii Fit Plus (Nintendo, Wii, 10/1/09)
- 10. Winning Eleven 2010 Aoki Samurai no Chousen (Konami, PS3, 5/28 )
Unless there's a miracle and it gets revived!
But other than that, I know there's still hope for Xenoblade and the Last Story. As for the Last Story, since it's basically Nintendo's Final Fantasy (hopefully it will be), just by Sakaguchi's name should give it more chances of it coming over.
Let's hope so!

I thought it was being ported?
Nice Xenoblade sales, hope that it doesn drastically drop off the charts the next week.

I thought it was too. Actually I haven't checked what's going on with it for awhile, but last I heard was there was a PS3 Japanese version, but no English and no news on the port.

Sucks. I'm sure there was a PS3 version but I guess they didn't localise it.
Anyone else concerned, disappointed, or worried that the three best JRPGs on the Wii...
...weren't shown, announced, or mentioned? They didn't even have any trailers either.
As for Tales of Graces, maybe Namco-Bandai will reveal it later this week, but Xenoblade and the Last Story is from Nintendo and it wasn't even mentioned. IGN said something that bugged me. They were also concerned that these games weren't shown during the press conference and they said that they hope Nintendo of America doesn't leave these in Japan.
How do you guys feel about this?Me? I'm troubled and irked a bit. I hope NoA brings these over. I'll be pissed if they ignore them and say crap like, "Oh, but there's no market in the US for these!"
