I had a friend try it. He kept it going for 6 months, and was only genuinally happy with it one month. That was a year or so ago, and I've heard it's gotten better. Then again there's about a hundred different monthly box companies out there these days. I can't honestly say for sure if it was Loot Crate anymore. I can vouch for Skoshbox though. They do monthly boxes of Japanese candy, and I have a few friends (sick in the head as they might be) who absolutely love it.
I have not tried it, they likely don't do this territory anyway. Suprise presents in the mail are always good, but honestly I think I'd prefer to whittle down an amazon prime wishlist and pick what I get. My days of accumulating radom shit are over.
If I did do a box o' the month I'd do it for candy.
I saw a thread on Loot Crate on GAF and it has me intrigued. Has anyone else tried it? I'm wondering if it's worth the subscription or maybe just mostly junk. I'm think a lot of the stuff may be something I give away or gift for Christmas. What do you guys think?
