After a long drought, I'm finally playing my games and having some fun

and stupid fun. The game is so ridiculous, but that's why it's fun.
Sometimes these kinds of games provide the most entertainment."
Yeah that has been my drought-buster this year. Something dumb. It's like watching a dumb comedy.

Yeah. But Wet is still a pretty good game and polished. Unlike Bullet Witch, which also provided some dumb fun, Bullet Witch is very clumsy, unpolished, and horrible game design in some of its parts.
But Wet is still a pretty well-made game.

But recently, I just felt like playing through my games. No multiplayer, no online, just good old-fashioned single player games.
And I'm having fun again!
It began with playing through Bayonetta. I played this on easy when I first got it because I was intimitated by the difficulty especially after Devil May Cry 3 actually made me cry! But Bayonetta felt too easy. So I finally played it on a harder setting and damn it's fun.
Secondly, I picked up Halo 3 at Gamestop for $15 since it was on sale. I sadly admit, I still haven't finished the fight. But playing through the single player reminded me how much of a blast I had with Combat Evolved on the original XBOX. I can't believe I'm having so much fun with Halo 3's single player!
Thirdly, I'm getting myself to play through Tales of Vesperia again. I bought this when I got my 360 since it was one of the first games I wanted for the system. I haven't touched it since the PS3 one was announced. But I had this urge to play it again and it definitely brings back the Symphonia times on the Gamecube. It's still, IMO, the best JRPG of this gen...other than Demon's Souls but since I didn't play it and since it's technically a WRPG, it doesn't count.

I'm actually setting a goal to beat these! And I hope this starts a personal trend for me so I can go through my backlog and starting beating these games I have.
Well, that's about it. I forgot how fun single player games can be.Online is fun when I'm in the mood for some competition and throwing temper tantrums, but nothing beats a good single player games.
