"Thank you for your email, our new US distributor Image Entertainment will be releasing a box set of the entire 26 episodes of King Arthur on March 2nd 2010. This will be King Arthur's DVD debut. 

I suggest you put a note to yourself to check Amazon early in January as that is when the listing will go on the site."

They released a vol 1 disc which was 5 episodes, I picked it up but it didn't sell well enough for them to do the whole series. Now its finally coming out

Spider-Man (1994 TV series)

The 1994, Spider-Man animated series was made for the Fox Network, (to accompany their X-Men series) with Christopher Daniel Barnes providing the webslinger's voice. This series had a bigger budget and used a novel system of one large story arc per season developed by John Semper. As a result each of the individual 65 episodes (starting with Season 2) were called "chapters." This series more closely reflected the comic book as it focused on the personal conflict Peter Parker felt as Spider-Man, instead of following the action-oriented shows that preceded it. This was the longest Spider-Man series, with 65 episodes in five seasons. [3] Several episodes were consolidated into direct-to DVD films, such as Daredevil vs. Spider-Man.

A UK company has released the first 3 seasons and 4 already has a pre-order up. 

Pretty good stuff, the 3-D stuff which I was worried wouldn't hold up, actually works very well. The voice acting is great and it manages to capture the essence of spiderman perfectly. There were also a few wisecracks which had me snorting water out of my nose at J. Jonah. Jamesons expense. 

Season 5 is launching here in October this year.

Okay firstly I cannot stop laughing in the Galaxy Rangers episodes which feature BUZZWANG. Whenever the characters say his name I laugh.

But secondly, Galaxy Rangers has some of the worst voice acting I've heard outside of the singapore english dub of the Japanese Transformers Headmasters show. Only Shane Gooseman comes out okay. The Doc sounds really camp and looks really camp too. Some of the voice overs are sometimes stilted because you can see them waiting to sync up with the animation.

Otherwise this show is like on the brink of being the most amazing thing ever, the designs the concept, the powers etc. But some of the writing can be amazingly bad at times and quite good at other times. All in all its quite enjoyable in places because of its ultra cool concepts and art, TMS actually went on to animate the 94 Spiderman series.

But there is a large bad to good ratio of episodes, about 50/50 which is higher than other series I've been watching.

Now, PRINCE VALIANT has gone from engrossing to totally LOTR style EPIC as the story arc brought him back to the first episode as he retook his homeland in like a 4 part episode. Its a persistent world and characters reappear and have consequences. Its proper story telling too. Outside of the first couple of episodes which feature a few out of place monsters, its serious and completely engrossing. I can watch episode after episode and its rocketed up my list of the best animated series out there. Top 5 definetly.

The general premise of the show is that a group of children are pulled into the "Realm of Dungeons & Dragons" by taking a magical dark ride trip on an amusement park roller coaster.[1] Invariably, the children try to return home, but often take detours to help people, or find that their fates are intertwined with the fate of others.

Upon arriving in the Realm the children are a little out of place, but the Dungeon Master, named for the referee in the role-playing game, appears assuming the role of their mentor, and gives them each clothing and magical paraphernalia to suit their abilities.

The euro version has no frills, unlike the splendidly presented US version. But I got the complete series for £8 including postage so I'm happy

With war with the Pirate Clans looming, an uprising begins among the Neosapiens, an artificial humanoid race coexisting with Terrans. In the back-story, the Neosapiens were used primarily as slaves during the colonization of Mars and Venus and therefore have been engineered to be physically stronger and better adapted to hostile environments than humans. Their mistreatment by Terrans led to the First Neosapien Revolt fifty years before the series' begin, which was mercilessly crushed but had brought some positive changes into their lives. Still not content with his fate, the Neosapien Governor of Mars, Phaeton, sets a new insurrection, codenamed "Operation [Neosapien] Destiny", in motion.

Now, this was a show I used to watch sporadically but had forgotten about. It's suprisingly... great actually. Despite it being animated the writing and voice acting is generally as good a modern sci fi series. I mean the first 7 episodes come across as part Battlestar Galactica (modern series) crossed with V and the resitance fighting against Earth's overthrowers.

It has horrible character designs though, obviously geared towards the toy market, but ignoring that, everything else is top notch in production value terms. This DVD is 2 discs, the entire first season which is 13 episodes. They only made two series so snap this up.

The critical reception of Exosquad was generally positive, as it was described as "no ordinary cartoon",[11] "truly a superb piece of work",[19] "a kind show that [one]’ll never forget",[23] and "one of the greatest anime epics ever made".[5] Phil Summers of Shamoozal.com commented that while "the early 90s wasn't exactly the best time for cartoons", Exosquad was "one of the most underrated cartoon series of all time". Summers spoke highly of its "serious, ongoing storyline", complimenting the maturity of raised themes, and denoted the decision to cancel it despite the rising popularity as "weird".[23] Likewise, Thomas Wheeler of MasterCollector.com described the abrupt ending as "a VERY frustrating cliff-hanger".[19] Both Summers and Wheeler praised the quality of the toy line that accompanied the series.[19][23] TG Moses of Evabeast.com pointed out that the two main strengths of Exosquad are its "phenomenal" story and its characters. Like Phil Summers, he complimented the mature themes (such as racism, religion, and politics), calling the show "thought provoking and inspiring" with "an incredible amount of depth" in it. Moses specifically praised the characterization of the Neosapien characters, which avoided "absolute good and evil" designations, and voice acting in the show, wherein he perceived it "better than everyone else".[5] Both Will Meugniot and Michael Edens commented that Exosquad was the best show they have worked on.[4][9]

Gord Lacey of TVShowsOnDVD.com reviewed the first season upon its DVD release and likewise praised the maturity and complexity of the show, which subverted his expectations.

I dont understand this:

The content? The season 1 discs are just the episodes straight up. Contractual issues over seasons 2 and 3? Wouldn't they sort all this out before season 1 gets released?

So I got the Ghostbusters set a while back.

Watched about half of the 25 discs provided.

Shock and horror. Did you know that the voice actors for several of the main characters changed mid-way through? And that in order to pander to the audience some changes were made to central characters?

The Real Ghostbusters I remember are the REAL ghostbusters, the original voices and designs for the series.

Past a certain point, because this was the Reagan era they wanted to have positive female role models, so Janine was changed from just a caricature of a new york secretary into a plucky, chirpy go getter. With pixie voice and a chipper clenched voice, eventually even becoming part of the ghostbusters team.

At around the same point in time Lorenzo Music the original voice actor for Peter Venkmen was replaced with a terrible substitute. A few episodes later Arsenio Hall got his own TV show and so the voice of Lothar in Defenders of the Earth was brought in.

Slimer proved so popular and so this led to his character increasingly going out on each and every ghostbusters call. And he suddenly developed perfect english skills. Before he just did incoherent babble with the odd real word.

At this point the show was re-named as SLIMER and the real ghostbusters, the beggining sequence was re-done marking Slimer as the hero and the title sequence had Slimer painting out his name in slimer before zooming to fill up the screen, pointing to himself and shouting "And me! And me!"
