Oh I see what you mean. 3D is the big thing about the system though. If I couldn't see it because of my brain I would be very disappointed.

I don't really want a handheld console like the PSP, the 3D is what's special. With the power and analogue stick, without the 3D I think developers would treat it as a handheld console.

For instance I could play a better (more technically competent) home console Resident Evil with my 360. But the idea of playing it in 3D, like R2D2 beaming out a Leia hologram in my face, is what's compelling about the 3DS and why I would choose to get a Resident Evil game on that particular system.

Sure without 3D and for games like Trauma Center they could just use the bottom screen. But it would feel like an incremental improvement, especially so because I've played the Wii game.
