This game is so delightful.  I love the strategy of figuring out the best way to tackle a mission, even if I suck at strategy.  I spent an hour playing this on the road but felt like minutes.

Game keeps on getting more and more fun! Discovered a Secret Area in World One after I cleared it. Also opened up Challenges... and boy oh boy is the word 'Challenge' appropriate... The first one I came across was marked 'Very Easy' and it still took me several tries to beat! The puzzles are simple but I love em anyway. The Skill Trees are starting to offer interesting techniques for the characters. Kinda freaky how Rabbid Luigi has a 'Vampire' skill that saps enemy HP and adds them to his own... Are they saying Luigi sucks?

I love how you can combo things like 'Bouncing' an enemy with Mario and Luigi's 'Overwatch' skills. It just goes on and on. So much fun!!  Grinning

PS... Anyone else think that Secret Fan that keeps on writing the crew is possibly Rayman?

Oh man!  The first world boss was phenomenal!  One of the best boss battles that I've ever encountered. And that last cinematic...fucking hilarious! This game is seriously becoming a contender for goty.

I just finished world 2, so good.  I'm now about halfway done.  Rabbid Mario and Peach are freaking beasts.  The difficulty spike must increase a good bit because 3-1 is kicking my ass.

Yeah the way the game opens up with all kind stuff of strategies and secrets to find is great. I don't know if I should continue onto the story, go back and do challenges and find secrets. There are always new enemies and powers opening up that change the strategies. It's a really good strategy game but it's not like an xcom. It's about level design and new designed scenarios each time in contrast to random battles and a deep  layer of management like xcom.

Yeah, it really is a cool problem, find all of the challenges or progress through the story?  I usually get sidetracked from the main quest.

Ok, I'm up to 3-8 right now.  World three is tough!  The music for this is beautiful, not really like a Mario soundtrack, very, very similar to Banjo/Kazooie.  This game feels like Mario/Luigi to me with the turned based combat.

World 3 is done!   The final world boss can rival The Great and Mighty Poo for coolest bosses.

I just finished this.  This a great game, fantastic bosses, beautiful music and awesome gameplay.  This is a true goty contender chock full of surprises and surprisingly good humor.  If you have a Switch, buy this!
