ccleaner is a good one for privacy purposes. not malware, just watch the opt-in screen on install. Other than that, if using windows, skip any antivirus and use windows defender.

Sigh, first the network adapter I got with it didn't work, it wouldn't recognize any networks. So I had to go to Best Buy and buy another one. Then Windows 10 wouldn't activate, whatever Windows that was preinstalled on my computer had some error so I had to reboot from bios and am now reinstalling Windows 10, the key worked this time.
This has been horrible.

Downloading loads of games on steam, the super graphics ones will take too long. I want to see crazy graphics damn it!
Ori and the blind forest looks so nice! Its the only game I got to play. Big picture mode and ps4 controller work perfectly!

I remember the days of swapping out components. Buying a game that wouldn't install and not being able to get my money back.
So tomb raider is downloaded so when I get home I will get to see what this baby can do. What should I do with settings? Do I max everything and work my way down?
Also since I have a new PC what other programs should I be downloading, any cool stuff I should have.

Can't remember what specs you have, but as a primary console gamer all I know is that you should watch out with AA, as the highest settings can cripple even the most beafy setup. So if you're not happy with performance skip MXAA and go for FFAA (not sure those are the right names, but they're close enough that you'll recognize them)
Tomorrow is the day, the day my new monster PC arrive. The day I join the master race and leave behind the unwashed console pesants.
Well my PC is scheduled to come in tomorrow, I am all set and ready for it. First thing I need to do is install Windows, I have that ready. I assume most of the day will be spent downloading updates and drivers and getting the PC working well.
As soon as I can I will get steam and start to download my library. Over 100 games will instantly become available to me, including biggies like Xcom 2, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Life is strange, project cars, star citizen, ori and the blind forest, and who knows what else (seriously, I forget what I own). I will absolutely be trying the graphic whore games to see what this baby can do.
Will I be blown away? Will I end up laughing and the puny PS4 after I see what games on a PC can look like?
I will chronicle my journey, all the highs and lows. Tons of impressions are coming.
Obviously if you have any advice drop it here. Any cool programs or links I should know, please share.
