Punchout, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid Prime Trilogy were all released after 2008. They are on the eShop here.

Not sure about year of release but Endless Ocean 1 and particularly 2 are good, Silent Hill Shattered Memories. Little Kings Story etc.

1 was good for me, like an n64 platformer with slightly quirky camera/IR controls. But then, I did grow up playing N64 games where you had to cope with a little camera awkwardness so I was fine with it. EM2 got slaughtered to shit in reviews which is why I never picked it up. I liked EM1.

They are flawed but very fun puzzle platformers. Camera controls can be a pain at times, but aren't too bad. Oswald's AI can be annoying too, but neither break the games. The levels are filled with classic Disney memorabilia, which is awesome to see.
BTW, reviewers suck. The Wii version of EM2 is just as good as the original, IMO.
I've beaten or played most of those. Was looking for late catalog stuff.
