I encountered something very weird on sunday. I was at a friends AC town and his house was tiny. So we went to the island and I wanted to fill up his island box with bugs and fish. When I went to dump some bugs, the box was full. When he looked it was not full. Seems that it's not only the train lockers that are linked in this game online, I saw my home town box contents, he saw his. Weird.

I made an exhibit for 10'000 bells, it's just like renting storage space. Handy but not as cool as expanding your house.
In terms of full sets I think I only have Modern Wood and Alpine. What about you guys?
Moved the Nintendo museum I was building from the top floor of my house to the exhibit rooms in the Museum itself. I have a Mario Room, a Zelda room, a Pikmin room and a General History / Interactive Models room. They look kinda empty for now, as does the top floor of my house, but it's been fun playing around with the look of the rooms!
I got four items from the golden series today.

I'm doing the same, just need to save up some bells! Just bought a bunch of Turnips from Joan!
In all the time I've played I only got 3 gold ores. For 1 item.

I had 12 but today I got a new one.
Silver Shovels help because sometimes you can get lucky and money rocks will give out upto 9 ores and atleast one of them will be a gold ore.

My multiple money rock ores never give out gold. Maybe it's because i haven't gone for a perfect town? I leave stuff on the ground for other characters.

So I read this island guide on making the most cash. As I have been doing you go to the island at night and catch bugs and the occasional shark. What I didn't realise is that you could reshape the island with regard to plantations, trees etc and these effects are permanent. So I went about hacking down normal trees and replacing them with palms where the most expensive bugs land. Should be grown in a few days then it's like 400'000 bells each trip where mostly I get about 250'000 as it is.
