It started allright and the stands idea is different from the Hamon breathing from the original series. However the back half of Stardust Crusaders descends into face offs with no story. Just endless new stand users, with no backstory or anything. Sometimes you watch several episodes in a row and feel like you've watched nothing, very unsatisfying.
The original series had Nazis and ancient beings, it had the relationship between Dio and Jojo and Jojos wife, friends etc. There was an attempt at a decent story too.
Ghibli's Princess Kaguya Blu-ray/DVD Release Slated For February
Universal Studios Home Entertainment releases first Ghibli film in N. America on February 17 ― Universal Studios Home Entertainment announced it will release Studio Ghibli and Isao Takahata's The Tale of the Princess Kaguya in a Blu-ray combo pack on February 17, 2015
I'm about to start Stardust, but that sounds disappointing. The story in the first season was a great romp.
I finished the 24th and final episode of Sword Art Online II. Great season with lots of fun twists. I was quite pleased that the second half of season 2 focused mostly on Asuna (she was largely ignored in the first half) and Yuuki. I'm looking forward to Season III, which was heavily hinted at in the last episode.
I also finished watching Yamada's First Time: B Gata H Kei on Funimation (it's also on Netflix, I believe). This is an absolutely hilarious ecchi (sexual humor) romantic comedy about a sex-crazed high school girl (Yamada) who has decided that she not only wishes to lose her virginity to a "cherry boy," but also wants to have "100 sex friends" too! Unfortunately for her, inexperience, self doubt, and school rivals continually keep her from her goal. I actually ignored this anime for quite a while due to the show's rather questionable premise (I was afraid it might be too distasteful even for me, lol), but it's been on a several Top 10 Comedy Anime Lists, so I eventually decided to give it a try. It's actually a very charming story, with a LOT of ecchi humor, but it never crosses the line, IMO.The story concludes with episode 12, and there won't be another season. I laughed my ass off on every single episode! Highly recommended.

Just as I wrote that I watched the next 3 episodes last night near the end and it was really entertaining. Hilarious baby episode followed by a shock plot twist and some personal emotional moments. Pretty awesome stuff!
Although I am 2 episodes from the "end" and the story is nowhere near completion, they are headed off to Egypt next and I keep reading on the news sites about the Egypt arc, so I guess I'll be all caught up with current events.

I need to see this.
I watched the first 2 episodes of Akame er.... no gill?
It was okay, the tonal balance is off as it is in many anime series. On the one hand it wants to be super violent uber cool and then on the other super cheesy and goofy. Entertaining nonetheless.
Well, I'm officially at the halfway mark (episode 12) on Parasyte The Maxim Season 1. I'm enjoying a lot. There's certainly no tonal balance issues here; it's a serious horror anime that never resorts to comedy or fanservice. My only issue with the show is that I have to wait a week for the next episode to aire in Japan. I would have easily marathoned the entire season in a couple days otherwise.

Premium users can access the app right away! If you aren't a Premium Member yet, there are sample clips available for you to enjoy, or you can sign up for a free trial;"> and experience all the Crunchyroll app on WiiU has to offer!
Crunchyroll just announced this 30 minutes ago. It works on the Upad!
The Crunchyroll Wii U app works quite well. I watched an entire 23 minute episode without any streaming issues at all. It's still a basic app, though. No HD support yet, and it's 480p only, which is perfect for watching on the Upad. There isn't any touchscreen support either, except for the virtual keyboard; all other navigation is handled with the buttons and Dpad.
FUCK YES!
NO MORE HOOKING UP THIS ASS BACKWARDS CABLE TO MY TV BEING TETHERED.
UK please, please please.
I watch free in 480p and it looks great on my HDTV anyway so no reason to pay. Wonder how the ads work on U and how skipable they are? No touch screen sucks though. I have been emailing Crunchyroll asking for a U app a few times now.
7 episodes into Akame ga Kill, warming to it. Can't believe they killed off a main character so quickly. That demented dog thing was weird. Hilarious when the main guy tried on the eye and saw them in underwear.
For your viewing pleasure, the first 5 episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is on youtube, English dubbed and in HD.
And you can watch it on your HDTV via Wii U - just click the view on youtube link

It's coming to the UK early 2015. Unfortunately, the app will only work for paid subscribers. CR stated that they are working on getting the app to work for free users too, but that will take much longer to implement.
So I was adding in several series Raven liked on crunchy roll and I came across this:
http://www.crunchyroll.com/dd-fist-of-the-north-star
WTF? Super Deformed Fist of the North Star comedy with the cast living in modern Japan?
In the 21st century, the characters of Fist of the North Star are living in peaceful Japan. In particular, Kenshirō is a convenience store worker, Raoh works at a factory, and wracked by illness, Toki is looking for work. The legend of the Fighting NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) North Star begins in the modern day.

Longer for what? Implementing even more ads? They repeat the same ad 4 times in a row, several times per episode already.

I suppose getting ads to work with their apps would require more programing, so it probably is more difficult to implement than the Premium version. Someone on the CR forums mentioned that all versions of the CR app started out this way.
Why can't they just put ads on the gamepad screen completely unintrusive?
