Raven/Steel/Foolz etc how do you choose what to watch on Crunchyroll? There's no rating system, I don't know what's good to watch. I'd rather have series which aren't too new, I like to watch to completion usually, not 1 episode per week. I've added some series you guys have talked about. Any more to look at?

Space Dandy in the UK is this any good guys?

I don't know if it is any different to the US version but if it is the same it is really good.

Hmm, Crunchyroll has a 5-star rating system here, and user reviews too. Anyway, I click on Shows and then Popular. Popular shows are usually the best ones. I scroll through until I see something that looks interesting. That's how I stumbled across Kill La Kill, and most of the other anime I watch. If something really impresses me, I then look up the director and/or Studio to see what else they have created; Kill La Kill led me to Gurann Lagann for example.

I've been watching Sword Art Online Season 2 and Akame ga Kill, both of which has been really good so far. I need to get back to Jojo soon.

Aniplex USA to Release Gurren Lagann on Blu-ray Singles

Company previously released the series in an imported Blu-ray set last year ― Aniplex of America announced at its Nan Desu Kan panel on Saturday that it will release the Gurren Lagann television anime series domestically in five volumes on Blu-ray Disc.

So it's going to be just as expensive as the Kill la Kill BRs . . . and I'll still buy it.

Which reminds me, Kill la Kill's 2nd box set comes out next month! Grinning

I don’t use CrunchyRoll, GG. It’s pretty easy to find shows with hype on the internet. It bleeds into gaming websites...and if you’re not using CrunchyRoll, then you get exposed to the slightly less hyped shows in the places where you get the hyped shows from.

For older or obscure things, YouTube is a good place to stumble onto random things. That’s how I found Shoujo Tsubaki. Happy (You would hate it.)

I'll see if it's Crunchyroll, thanks.

That's funny, I emailed them and they replied that they were sorry they didn't have this system and said they passed my comments up the food chain. I thought there would be user ratings and you could just filter the results.

Thanks Foolz. When I've checked  the net for anime to watch it usually gives me top ten lists and I've either seen or checked out most of them.

So Kill la Kill - Part 1 of 3 [Blu-Ray) part 1 of 3 is £43 for the Blu-ray here. So for all 3 parts £129 for like 24 episodes? Anime is getting to rip off prices here. This kind of thing just makes me want to steer clear of buying it and for other people I'm sure it just encourages piracy.

Attack on Titan is £25 for 13 episodes, so £50 for 26 episodes.

Compare that to Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Collection One Blu-ray (Episodes 1-35) for £25

Or 23 Fairy Tail episodes for £25

On those lists scroll straight past the top 10 to the comments and you might find some things that way.

I've come to the realisation that One Piece and Fairy Tail are spiritually sister series. They are so alike in so many ways. It's a shame One Piece is ugly as sin because the stories, voice acting and music are all good. And it can be a very fun series to watch. Not particularly deep though.

Also I started watching Supernatural the Anime - bizaarely they've taken the decision to remake live action episodes into animated form when they should be making new episodes in the same universe. So as someone who has watched the live action series, re-watching this in shorter and worse form is pointless. There is new stuff and totally original episodes, so I'm looking forward to those. I have a feeling that this is going to be like those Marvel animes which give Japanese writers and teams the reigns in storytelling.

One other thing, GG. Imdb and animedb (user) reviews love name dropping similar shows in their reviews; especially if they're not that well known but good.

I ordered a cable to hook my computer up to the TV, should be watching some big screen anime on crunchyroll soon. You should sign up, it's free to watch with a few ads here and there.

I've been watching and enjoying JoJos Bizaare adventure. It's super melodramatic and ugly as sin. I mean I see backwards baseball caps matched with purple bow ties and a yellow tank top, purple trousers, purple hair, circus hats, harlequin patterns. It's just SO bad the way everyone is dressed. At its heart the anime is a fairly normal vampire like rival series but dressed up in bizaare clothing and super melodramatic scenes.

I'm slightly perplexed how they've turned JoJo into Kenshiro, in behaviour and apperance and how it's become like a FOTNStart homage. Still I'm enjoying it a lot.

Hmm, now passed JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Episode 12 – The Pillar Man        , wtf? Getting more interesting and less ugly.

Why does it seem like JoJos Bizaare adventure is intent on making Nazi's sympathetic characters?

It seems that way because that's what it's doing. And it's doing it because those Nazi characters are awesome.
