I missed the controversy on this. Was it bad? I see Obsidian in the bottom of the box.

Well, consider two things here:

1. The opening area is fucking terrible. Mostly because it goes on far too bloody long and you don't do a terribly large amount.

2. The game was shipped before Obisidian could properly finish it, so the ending? Really rushed.

Which is a shame, because I think it's much better than KOTOR, thanks to a much more interesting story and set of characters.
