LOL I'm am the cheapass gamer ! I buy a ton of games a year and no way Am I ever paying full price. I got my Wiimote + today with Wii Play Motion for $25 brand new from Drugstore.com. This new Wiimote plus is amazing its literally half the size and weight of a regular Wiimote with motion plus attachment. Maybe it's me but it also feels more accurate too! Wow if Wii had this controller and HD graphics and capibilities to go with that, it would have been so their Generation. As it is they did ok but it could have been so much more, total domination.

I tried out Halo Anniversary, WOW!!!!! I forgot how fucking amazing Halo 1 is, the remake looks gorgeous. After messing with campaign I went to multiplayer, omg I am in love! LOVE!!!! Its Halo 1 multiplayer online!!! Super pistol is back!!! Hang Em High! Yes yes yes yes yes yes.
I am going to be on this thing a ton. I dont know about Reach online, too many new features, I am kind of lost there but this, this is classic Halo, the way its meant to be played. I cant believe people choose CoD over Halo.

I dont remember Halo's story so I firgured I start where it all began. I assume Reach has some info from Halo 3. Also I rather play it in release order has gameplay enhancements feel more natural. That said should I be seeing these terminals of 343, it seems to have some revelations.
Oh I forgot to talk about the new dashboard update, WOW!!! Its fantastic, it is a massive change and now its better than the PS3. Its super slick, very organized, not cluttered, everything easy to get too.

It's better, but I still prefer the PS3 dashboard.
Played with Steel tonight, had a blast on Halo. Wow I sucked bad, then I got better as I played, started to remember how to play Halo. I really must say the system makes it really easy to connect and stay in touch with what everyone is doing. Its very well done and I can see why everyone loves it so much.

No Reach has nothing to do with Halo 3. Its similar to what Capcom did with Resident Evil Zero, just way better. 
The Terminals are awesome, make sure to find them all. They do a great job explaining the story of Halo, exactly what happened, and give hints to where it could be going.
Gears is done, kind of ended quick. I didnt find the final boss to be that hard. Overall took like 8 hours and that is that i died a lot. Great action game, cant wait to see what they do with the sequel but i will take a break from that franchise for now.
I started Banjo-Kazooie, the original, I love it! The HD transfer is gorgeous, looks better than Wii games, its amazing what HD does to a game. The game is the ultimate collectathon but it does so in a very fun mannner. I can see why its a classic.

And I agree...the graphics are beautiful. The scary thing is, the original N64 version isn't too different, this version is just cleaned up. All of Rare's N64 Live games are like this. I really hope Nintendo takes this approach with the Wii 2 for the rest of the N64 classics, and I hope Sony or the 3rd-parties start doing this with PS1 classics. I mean its nice and all that you can get PS1 games on the PS3, but fuck me do some of these games need to be cleaned up and given widescreen and whatnot.

Well it looks better than most PS3/360 games too anyway. Except not the ruined HD version.
Had a blast playing GeoW 3 horde with solid and dez. That mode is like an entire game onto itself. I am finding the online experience to be so much better than the PS3. Its easy to connect, of course the headset for me is way better on 360. All the games really make playing online a simple seamless experience. I can see why this console is so popular, it feels super interconnected. Why didn't anyone tell me to get this console sooner.

I remember telling you to get 360 instead of the PS3 years ago. Nobody listens to me.
It really is a great console though, hardware issues notwithstanding. Definitely one of the best systems ever made when you consider the games, the service, the controllers (both MS's pad and the Razer Onza are near perfect) and on top of that, how long its been out and its still going strong and doesn't feel dated at all. I thought about making a thread about it actually.
I missed Horde. I lost track of time finishing Zelda. Did you guys get to wave 50?

Prey is actually pretty cool. It was when 1st released anyway....not sure how it holds up.
