Just listened to the podcast. Thought I should explain the joke at the end which had us in hysterics:
During the pre-show, Steel left his computer to go get a beer. It had been a while until one of us (I can't recall whom) picked up on the fact that Steel had been gone for a while. I can't recall who it was that first made the comment (I like to think it was Yoda), but the quote was "where the hell is his fridge? Is there only one fridge in Mexico?"

Rather than give you a paraphrase, I'll just give you the original clip:

Includes the preshow set up and the actual joke later.

I think that's really a matter of whether or not we do what we've been playing. Honestly, I keep wavering back and forth whether to bother. I mean, it's the actual gaming part so it seems counter-intuitive to remove, but if we're going to have a focus it ought to be on the news. Maybe have a timer or something to keep us in check. The last couple podcasts we ran a good half-hour on it.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileLets turn the what you have been playing into some type of gameshow with timers and buzzers.
Beatles Rock Band talk, woohoo! Keep the streak alive. Lets beat Fifa 09. Steel is nailing it, the game must respect the music that the game is based on and that is exactly what this game so well. Oh its not over yet, i am talking about it when I get on.
Batman talk, Jamie has excellent taste in games. shirtless batman mod. Play it! Infamous too, awesome. Homer is right, Infamous was the higher reviewed game. And Saint's Row 2 is SHIT compared to GTA4. Fallout 3, dude you are swimming in AAA games.
Yep most of all the Mario RPG games are excellent because they have all stayed close to the original. But there are some odd step brothers in the bunch like M&L2 and Super Paper Mario. I thought I told you guys that Bionic Commando does not suck.
WTF is a bingo whatever.
That PS3 motion setup is such crap. There is no way they can go through with that. Yeah I will buy RE5 again.
Dynasty Warriors = shit.
I think Jet Grind Radio sucks. And Jet Grind Radio is the DC version, JGR Future is the Xbox version. The Xbox version is apparently worse but I cant stand the DC version.
No respect for Sonic at all. Tsk tsk.

Jet Grind Radio was DC, Jet Set Radio Future was XB. Both are challenging games, but advanced cell-shading (for better or worse), had wonderful sound tracks and ... well that's about it actually. But yeah it was a case of style over substance.

I played it on the DC anniversary, what garbage. It controls like complete ass. Your character is on skates but is slow as balls. The jumping is horrible, the missions are horrible, the spray paint combat is horrible, the camera is horrible. I could not stand it, no wonder I never finished it. Why people like it is beyond me, maybe I am missing something with the gameplay, maybe there are some moves that makes the character respond well that I dont know about.

It's the J-Pop soundtrack and design that people love it for. I garantee that 100% of those people never made it past the third stage (because it is impossible).
I have to say, that when I played it on the DC back in the day the graphics alone really impressed.

Take a look at my Last.fm page. And I hate that game. You're also right, that game is impossible -- I wanted to beat it in order to review it as awful, but gave up because it wasn't worth it.
