Alright, let's DO THIS. Identical version number. 7600 means Windows 7, so same OS as well. No scrolling issues -- again, I don't control your scrolling. Posting with the editor this response.  Can go page to page just fine.  Back buttons aren't having any issues, but one thing I see is that the loading indicator is MIA.  I didn't touch the fonts, either, so don't know what you're talking about there.

The current editor is probably going to go, it has become a serious pain to deal with, so will be looking at alternatives.

Let me put it this way.

Using every other site on the internet that I usually peruse, the scrolling is fine. With this site, since the weekend update, occasionally the scrolling has become jerky or unresponsive. This happened in the past with Gamespot when their site became more convoluted. If the website is too resource heavy or uses some funky flash or javascript, it can slow down and impede your browsing experience on the site.

As I said before, every other site scrolls fine, it's not a coincidence that this site doesn't always scroll smoothly. I know IE can be an ass browser sometimes, but it's the most widely used browser so any website has to work with it. I prefer opera but I've found that a lot of the time its missing plug ins and doesn't run some flash stuff that I want it too.

Can go page to page just fine.

I've found myself in the Lost Zelda thread on several occasions when clicking to read specific posts from the (Latest comments section.)

Back buttons still aren't working right. I opened the Podcast page in a new tab.

Then clicked Forums>gaming>JRPG thread>forums

Then I hit BACK which should have taken me back to the JRPG thread. Instead it took me back to the Podcast page - the very first page I opened.

The font has definitely changed in terms of size and use of BOLD since the weekend update. I don't know if its the changes you've made or the browser being updated, but it was instantly noticible once you did the weekend updates.  The smallest text is now virtually unreadable.

All text appears to be in BOLD. Looking at the forum page in 100% magnification on IE8, the thread titles are all bold, yet the letter spacing isn't wide enough to accomodate, which can make reading these titles difficult.

I guess the biggest problem I had yesterday was the page just freezing when I hit submit and not doing anything.

Sorry.jpg

Sorry to complain Yoda, I more than anyone appreciates all the work you've done on this site and I'd like you to know that. I feel bad complaining about tech issues.

Now getting this message when the page freezes on hitting submit in the General gaming forum, but not in this forum.

Okay, now it's not even funny. I did like 20 updates on the News page and it was there in the column. I hit refresh and they all disappear. Argh!

When you click some comment in the latest comments it takes you to that lost Zelda thread.

And let me put it this way: I'm replicating the steps you provide as problematic, using the identical browser version with a fresh installation and default settings and do not encounter the same issues.  This consequently indicates what I originally stated which is you have issues on your side.  Whether it be security settings or otherwise.

Meanwhile, your user agent string is reporting incorrectly, the reason your back button is this error

Message: 'jQuery' is undefined
Line: 11
Char: 1
Code: 0
URI: http://thevgpress.com/js/jquery.address.min.js

Which I can't do a thing about because that's entirely up to whether jQuery is added to the page before the jQuery address plugin, which it is.

So go to Tools->Internet Options, the Security tab and report which level.

I clicked Profile from the home page and it stuck itself in an endless loading cycle just now.

I tried to post that Spiderman Blog, it posted it twice. I deleted one and somehow the other disappeared too. When it was posted it showed up on my profile page, but not on the blogs forum and not in the latest blogs section on the home page.

Okay so now I'm using Opera 10.60

1. It wouldn't let me log in via the news page, when I clicked submit it endlessly got stuck with the faded grey screen and 3 square boxes. It only let me log in via the homepage

2. When I clicked profile from the home page it endlessly got stuck with the faded grey screen and 3 square boxes.

3. When I clicked profile from the (news) page it endlessly got stuck with the faded grey screen and 3 square boxes.

4. When I clicked forum from the homepage nothing happened. Not even the flashing squares, just no response. Oh hang on, I had to click it several times before it worked.

5. I coloured the words Opera 10.60 in this post red and that didn't work, it came out white.

Otherwise the site seems to work much better on Opera. Although its much more difficult to copy and paste lots of pics or text with links attached. Which means I can't do the news anywhere near as well as before.

Login from the news page works.  I can't say anything more than that.

The profile page can take longer to load.

Opera itself does not support rich text copying.

Opera is on version 10.61.

New editor is in place. Let's see if this takes care of some issues.

But I guess the editing still needs some tweaking.

Really looks good though!

Quoting issue was caught immediately after upload, and fixed.  So you were just too quick on the draw.  But what the?  I see two of this topic Uneasy ...and now only one.  I blame Internet Explorer on this one.  Never know what you'll find with this thing.

Ooooh, nice editor Yo Happy

IE8, still it won't let me log on via the News page. I have to do it from the home page for it to work.
