Smallville Creators to Adapt a Fantasy Novel Series for MTV
Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, the men who developed Smallville for The WB over a decade ago, are writing and developing a MTV drama series based on the Shannara series of fantasy novels by Terry Brooks. If MTV likes the script, they will go forward with a series with a pilot directed by Jon Favreau.

If true would put a kink in theories that Arrow would be tied into DC's Cinematic Universe.
That could cause a problem if Arrow and DC Cinematic Universe were tied together because David Ramsey will possibly be playing John Diggle and Lex Luthor.

This movie is going to be a mess. You have batman and superman together, you have all the superheroes coming together, possibly doomsday who is supposed to kill superman, introduce lex luthor. Too much.
