Can someone explain suicide squad to me cause it sounds likes the stupidest non canon shit ever. For one the joker would never work well with anyone and he would never take orders or do anything that could be remotely considered good. So why are a bunch of batman villains teaming up to do something that does not involve killing batman.

Suicide Squad is basically the Dirty Dozen with super villains. They are ordered by the government to go on missions that government agents would back out of because they are too dangerous. They keep them under control by implanting bombs into the back of their heads and if they get out of line Amanda Waller will explode the bomb implant. They agree to go on these missions in exchange for a shorter sentence.
The Joker will probably play a similar role to what he played in Batman Assault on Arkham where he wouldn't be on the team he would either be a target the team has to go after or he is an independent that is only there to get Harley onto the team where she gets arrested trying to break the Joker out of prison.
Since they recruit the members from Arkham Asylum and Belle Reve prison they will probably have a lot of cameos of other villains.

The Joker has taken orders and been part of evil teams a lot in the past. But he usually goes crazy or screws someone over at some point.
