I did enjoy the first game, despite not completing it. I'm not overall a fan of westerns though, or western games unless there is a hook.
Whats the best video to watch Steel?
Non-trolling question (keeping in mind I generally enjoy GTA) :
Is this essentially GTA4 in a different setting? If so it will be interesting to see how they adjust to the criticisms of GTA4.
Yeah this game is looking absolutely fantastic. This game really wasn't one I was ever thinking of getting but after watching those videos they did that have a documentary type of feel to them I was thoroughly impressed and the game quickly shot up to a "must buy" status for me.

Since that lazy wife beater is ignoring me, what's the best video to watch?
The ISP is f****** around with my connection as they force an upgrade. I have no bandwidth.

I can't believe you're stuck with such a shitty connection, Lord of the Developed World. At least I have a valid excuse.
Watch the second trailer, but the "Weapons and Death" gameplay video might be of more interest to you, who likes to nitpick at inane stuff.

Probably. Perhaps I hope they're using this IP to test out some stuff that might not be well received on a regular GTA game.

Yeah, I hope the shooting is definitely improved over GTAIV's.
Welcome aboard, BTW.
Watched it. Maybe a story trailer would be better?
It looks okay, I guess I just remember how the first game played and I think it might work in the same way. You're going to be stuck behind cover, hit the shoulder button, pop out, lock on, hit other shoulder button, dood dead.
If it was for Arc/Gem I would be interested more just for the actual aiming mechanic.
Horse riding sounds more promising. Is there more to do this time other than shoot? As its open world will you be breaking people out of jail, rounding up cattle or ferrying people across open land? Fishing?

I heard you can write letters and buy furniture for your hideout.

SOLD
*loads second trailer*
That was a pretty cool trailer, face animation, music is great. The lead character reminds me of the guy who plays Bones in the new Star Trek.
Western films/games always bother me though because the whole thing is set in a desert. There's not the location variation you see in other games.

I'm sure you can plant some flowers and spruce the place up.
Just as an aside Gg, did you ever try chibi robo on the cube?
