Samus!
Sorry, I put this in a new blog but noticed that the page shrunk the HDTV pics which made them look better than they are. I hope this doesn't happen here on the forums where the page width is greater.
Yarcoffin wanted comparison pics. So here.

Point proved, no one even spotted that they were from different games entirely.
Ownage, mole men! Get your eyes checked!
All he has done is shown that the difference is so tiny, you wouldn't even notice it if they weren't side-by-side. Obviously seeing the clearer one, you would want that. But to be honest, text on my TV is like 10 times more blurry than this, where I can't even read it in some games (if you include the tininess.)
WTF? Hobo TV?
Is it black and white and portable too?
Do RE4, NOW.
I still cry about that game.
Yeah, there's a bigger variety of enemy character models in the bottom pic than in Crysis.
I will have to use my digital camera. I will try for you but for some reason whenever I try and take pics of a TV screen the backlight always overexposes everything.
gg, what;s the point here? I went out and got HD cables for my wii 3 days after launch. There is no case for Ninty to not have supplied the cables in box, they hve done themselves a great dis-service, they may as well have included a RF adaper only.
Ugh, HD cables are a crock. They dont scale anything up. They are just providing a progressive output i.e 480i vs 480p.
Progressive is essential for HDTVs though as its easier to upscale a progressive signal rather than having to deinterlace it first. So it will be better, but still it doesn't address the big issue: Wii isn't HD and doesn't have upscaling and the scaling in your TV, unless its new uber scaling like the Regza ZV will f*** up your picture compared to playing Wii how it is meant to look, on an SDTV.
I use components and those pics above are from using these on an HDTV.
