I just read Games TM review.
The author complained about the weak weapons, then went on to complain that the XP collecting in the game serves no purpose.
How embarrsing for him. He missed one of the key components of the game in a four page review (that was their featured review for that issue).
Yep. I am usually bad at missing things like that also, but I found that TR did a good job of directing you in upgrading your weapons. It was enjoyable too.
So a so-called "pro" reviewer did exactly what I did in that game?
At least I finally figured it out halfway through. 
I still blame the lack of a paper manual for my confusion.
